Sigelei 213 VW mode troubles

So I just bought a used sigelei 213 from a buddy who gave up vaping. I have no manual with it, and I'm having some trouble using it in power mode.
I got a cleito on it with .4 SS coils, at 55w. It fires great for a second or so and then the power drops off, acting like it's in temp control mode. My batteries are over 70% so I don't think that's the problem. I also tried my sub tank mini @ 20w and a crown @ 50w and same problem.

Is it in preheat mode or something that I'm not seeing? I've never heard of a mod doing this in power mode.

Ok still fiddling with it. When I hit the fire button its actually jumping up to 6.25v for a second then dropping to 4.8-5v

Sounds like the preheat is set ridiculously high. Press the wattage up and fire button at the same time then hold to get into the preheat.

Once in the menu, you'll see wattage and duration.

Change accordingly.

Thanks smeef! This was the problem. Preheat was set at 110w for .85 sec I set it at 55w for .1sec and all is well!

Thanks Smeef. I have two 213 and didn't know about the preheat function. Should have read the manual.
