I'm a relatively new vaper, been vaping for nearly 2 months now, and I own an istick and an ipv mini. I couldn't be happier with either of them since 20-30 watts is the max I think I'll ever vape. But, I just can't get around how sexy tube mods look! Yeah I know they're a bit of a hassle for everyday use but I think I NEED to own one to calm my obsession with them. So, is the sigelei 30 watt the BEST tube mod right now? It uses the yihi chip (which every vaper seems to worship) and looks stunning too

For the person that owns and is satisfied with one, Yes.
Everything else is just personal preference/opinion.

Whatever satisfies you is what is most important.

Vape on! :vapor:

Tube regulated mods are a thing of the past.
Yea, like Mechanical Mods
Skipping Rocks
Personal Freedoms..................oops, that one is.

LOL! On a side note, I don't get the point of mech mods now, why do people use them?

Pure convenience.
Pure Mechanical in 18350 mods is smaller than even the iStick mini. Add a nano Kayfun tank and you have a very comfortable Pocket/stealth mod that will get you through most of the day. Spare battery will finish the day out.

There are just certain times a Box is not the best choice.
Can you imagine a dual 18650 Box Mod in a Roofers Nail apron or a Lineman's Bolt bag?

On sigelie my preference is the zmax v3/v5 if your happy with 24w at 1.3 ohms.

Stacked 18350 in the zmax will put out 6v to a 1.3 ohm coil all day long with one set and I vape heavy. This set up is incredible in how long the batteries last.

If you load both with a 1.4 ohm and set at 6v or 25w the stacked zmax will last 2-3 times longer on one charge.

Along with a hundred other purchases, I've really been thinking about an 18500 mech and a Lemo Drop. Sounds like a very nice, stealthy setup. Or the Joytech eGo One. We're really lucky to have so many great choices these days.

Back fully on-topic: I'm not much for tube mods since I have stupid hands and a non-level old house. My stuff is always falling over when it's on an ego or tube mod. Boxes work well for me and they're available in nearly any size/wattage that one could desire. I think really all that's missing is something mini iStick sized that does 50+. That seems to be a technical limitation, it's hard to get a battery that small that can hold a good charge and output the required current.

I have an I Stick 50w on the way, theres a new 70w IPV Mini and probally a few other mods that are I Stick sized kicking big boy wattage...Sunburst, just saying.

How did you get an iStick 50W? Are they out yet? Haven't heard of anything.

EDIT: nvm, reading stuff at 3 AM never works.
