Any suggestions on removing that logo they are stamping on the latest batch of Sigeleis? I don't want to polish my #20 cuz I like the brushed finish but that logo, and the "on/off" have got to go...

I use Panasonic CGR's, AW's are just a hair shorter. I'm not a big fan of magnets in mech mods, there is the possibility for them to move around in a bad way. If you can't get what you need, or don't have the means to get the nuts n' bolt to work, shoot me a PM. I might have turned an extra set of nuts just in case.
Well I got a properly sized brass screw and cut it to length and inserted it into the bottom pin. Drop off is not any better but no worse either and I was able to eliminate the magnets so worth the effort. Thanks for the help
someone also mentioned sugar on scotch tape. sounds odd, but apparently the sugar breaks down finer as you sand/scrub. Mine came without a logo, so I haven't tried it.

i posted the sugar thing earlier. it works great on laser etching. dont knock it til you try it.

There's a webshop in the Philippines that sells bottom switches for Sigelei telescopes. I am wondering if it is a viable fix for the 19 bottom switch. It doesn't have a locking mechanism unfortunately.

I would say its a flat top. #9 @ DV is slant top. knurled bottom button.. uhm, wonder what the top fits? hum, guess it would be next #8. 19 n 20. I will (not) wait till friday. If the fire button is recessed or surrounded by the bottom, then there ought to be no problem.

The #9 isn't their best mech mod. I know, I have one.
- Button throw in 18350 mode is long. Very long. About 1.5-2cm.
- The 510 connection is really raised. Around 3mm.
- In 18350 mode, all the vent holes are covered up.
- The positive pin is adjustable but it isn't slotted for a screw driver, you'll need pliers.
- It's a wobbler.
+ After modding, it looks pretty nice and hits pretty well.

Smart choice...Put an AGA T2 on it...wrap a #500 ss mesh wick and use some ribbon kanthal 3/2 wrap....bend wick toward positive post slightly...make sure the ribbon wire ends are super snug to the posts. Should get 0.8 to 0.9 ohms or so
