I'm using a Bernzomatic Propane fueled Torch, my first time torching, but I could already tell how to get some of what I wanted out of it. For me a close flame, but not long in the same spot was yielding very beautiful hues of purple and blue. Hence why the top looks better than the bottom lol

Nice, good temps then for those colors. FYI, I think it'll need to be sealed for the color to stay as it is. Not a big deal if not though, sand it back down, and re-torch.

The only real problem I'm having which I thought I'd fixed is a hot button issue.... I sanded down everything in the button -.-;; .4 ohms with an Efest 18650 and my button is getting fairly hot. I'm baffled! Threw the same tank on my buddies Smok telescope and no issues. I've tried to get some help with this but it keeps getting lost in the thread with no responses... PLEASE! Suggestions or help! Thanks either way.

Sanded it down, then what? If you didn't get the pin sanded flat it will make a difference how much of it is contacting the center post. I have never had a hot button issue with this model but I notice sometimes if it seems weak on a button press it helps to just spin the button a quarter turn or so, spinning the firing pin as well. This is due to my inability to sand the end of that pin evenly... not Sigelei's problem ;)

I also use a shortened brass screw inside the spring that connects to the bottom of the battery and my top pin is still "stock". Lastly I stuffed the switch itself with conductive grease (in the spring area) which also seems to help. I get zero drop to two decimal places straight off the 510 connector and only .2 drop with a 1.5 ohm mini DID genesis on top.

The amount of thread locking compound Sigelei used could also create a poor connection causing a hot button. Remove the switch housing from the tube and clean the threads with a small wire brush, steel wool or a Scotchbrite pad would even work. You're probably going to have to heat it up to remove the switch housing, a pencil torch or a lighter will work.
I don't remember if you said you did this yet, but sand down the switch pin shaft and the inside of the small hole it slides in. If you're using noalox put some on the switch pin shaft and the surface of the small hole it slides in.

I just wanted to say I am just now starting to jump on the Sigelei bandwagon. My wife picked up the #8 last weekend and I have a #20 due to arrive Saturday. This is a very informative thread (I'm still trying to finish it from start to finish). Mine is coming with an additional Helix Hot Spring. Just wanted to ask if it is actually a necessary addition compared to stock out of the box.

Yes bud a decent spring in the #20 is a huge improvement :)

Thanks for the quick response. I'm quite excited since I now feel I have a good grasp on coil making and I'm eager to try out my IGO-L on it.

Here's my #20 igo combo, I love it :)
