I finally got my shipping notice on my #19 with nzonic head, been waiting ages and ages. We'll see how I like it as is...otherwise I may be sunk. I'm not a tinkerer and didn't realize I may have to fix this myself to work properly. Keeping fingers crossed.

I was speaking to a Segelei employee on Skype and inquired about a custom made sigelei #8. Told the employee I wanted the #8 to have all brass and stainless steel with no chrome plating. She understood and agreed to the order as long as I met the MOQ of 10. They're directly capable of making it happen since she told me there factory is on site. These are also the newer sigelei versions with the logo stamped on the metal and an updated spring. No extra charges for the custom request. I might do a CoOp if I gather enough interest.

In pillowkings original coop for the 8 she asked for the same thing. Brass, no yellow, even broke out the rusty Chinese.

They assured her no plating. They came plated. Make sure you are SUPER clear. Pics of shiny yellow brass with green check marks. Plated chrome with red X's. The works.

Picked up a #8 and a AGA-T2 tonight. This is my first mechanical mod, and I'm using it with a protank until I try building up the AGA. The #8 is hitting great right out of the box.

Apparently they stopped plating their brass with chrome. This is an email I received back from Sigelei

Your suggestions are forwarded to our boss and the engineer.
We stop the Chrome plating on the brass of #8 and #13.

Also we are in wish that we can produce that kind of bottom firing button.

Yes, it does seem a bit off to put a $50 switch on a $25 mod. But I think someone asked the question earlier if it would fit on a #19?

It would be interesting to see what is going on inside that switch. Looks like the same mechanism?

Yep it was me, so it fits no problem then? Is it ok in 18350 mode too

Well, until the post above yours, most people would have recommended the #8. It does not telescope, though, it comes with a set of tubes to change out according to your battery size. Most people hit the contact points with sandpaper to increase conductivity (and use Noalox or Oxgard).

Also which vendor offers best price for #8? Is there any vendor which sells it for under 30$?

I like the #20 personally...if gaps bother you, it will require modding
