Okay, so I've seen here that some other people are having the same trouble with the sigelei Zmax v3 button as I am. I ordered the APV 8/25. About a week after 9/11, I started having intermittent problems with the button - sometimes not firing, sometimes, evidently wobbling so it sent me into the menu rather than firing, cutting me off three seconds into a pull, etc. At first, I thought I was just having problems with my thumbs because of a medical issue I have. But it kept getting worse. I've contacted Discount Vapers about possibly getting it covered under warranty, as their warranty returns page was less than helpful, and there was no clear warranty period on the APV. It's run by a husband and wife, and she responded to my e-mail saying she was kicking it over to her husband to review to see if anything can be done. One problem I see is they are currently out of stock of these, unless they make the repairs themselves. Something I'm also disappointed in, if I have to send it back to them, it's on my dime, they don't provide for shipping, I'm not sure about shipping back to you if there is indeed a problem that they deal with.

I saw the "fix" that someone posted at, I guess, the end of August or the beginning of September? I tried to reply in that thread, but the forums wouldn't let me for some reason. For one, I'm definitely not mechanically inclined, much less replacing buttons, and another, I'm not sure I want to do any taking apart of equipment prior to hearing back from DV.

But, what I really want to know is how common is this, and are there are other workarounds?

I'm half tempted to go back to my eGo stick batteries until this is resolved, but I am stuck on the Variable Wattage (although I suppose I could buy a couple eGo twists to use instead and just figure out the voltage to use to get to where I like my power), and it makes SUCH a difference on the taste. I mean, if DV agrees to take it back and either replace it or fix it, I'm going to HAVE to come up with something else to use in the time being anyway(I vape enough I used to go through three 900 mah stick batteries a day thereabouts).

Anyway, TIA
