Sigelei Zmax V3 Non Tele!?

So Friday last week I ordered a sigelei Zmax from Vapor alley and I was looking for info regarding differences in the v2 and the v3. After watching Pbusardo's youtube videos about the v2, I'm quite certain I have a v3 because he said specifically the v1 vs the v2 the v2 has the dimples on the flat part of the body and they are round like the v1. mine has teardrop style dimples on the tapered side of the top. The power pin has no hole in the middle like the v1 has and has the four air slits like the v2 has.

Am I correct in my thinking this is a v3?

Anybody? 55 views and not one post...Well opinions? What do you guys think? so far I really like it compared to the L-Rider Chrome lava tube I came from.

I don't know for sure what you bought and I can't compare it to mine until it gets here. But the V3 I bought is this:

The link you posted just goes to their home page. Ya I got mine from Vapor Alley also and I believe it will be the same as mine...let me try and post a link and see if it works..

Cool! Thats what I thought but the pictures on Vapor Alleys page are of the v1 and the v2 and the one I got is different like the pics above show.

If you look at the description below the pictures it says:

"This is the version 3 ZMAX and features RMS operation for voltage regulation resulting in an accurate and consistent experience. The sigelei features a beautiful OLED display. OLED technology allows the ZMAX to display full descriptions of each setting and error message taking the guesswork out of using the APV."

Ya but the v1 has RMS operation as well. As far as I can find there has been no changes or updates to the electronics, just the air vents or slits around the center post...the v1 had only two air vents and the v2 has 4. The small hole in the center post of the v1 that according to Pbusardo went nowhere went away on the v2. and the one we have does not have that hole in the center pin, and we have the 4 air slits like the v2 but the v2 has round dimples around the flat part of the cone or top piece and the v3 has tear drop style dimples on the angled part of the cone...the v1 had round shape dimples on the same angled part of the cone but like said before had only two air slits and the hole in the center pin.

Long story short I think they have changed some stuff cosmetically but nothing as far as board or electronics. I love my v3 and my co-worker that has the v2 is ...... because mine looks better.

With the locking Artemas tanks I did have a problem with airflow where if I unscrewed the locking base it flowed a lot better which I know is that style of tank like the one in the pic so I just drilled a 1/16" hole in on of the teardrop dimples and problem solved. doesnt look bad or anything just helps with airflow with that style of tank. other non locking tanks did not have the same problem and I have heard of the same problem on other MODS...

Nope, it looks like you have a V2. All V3's are telescoping mods.

Well, a lot of other sites are claiming these are V3. I guess I could email the vendor and find out. Mine is pretty much perfect, so I don't care that much, but I am curious.

Sorry Guys I haven't had internet for a wail. Thanks Pbusardo For Chiming in! Thanks Mooreted for the research! Does your look just like the pics I posted? I was thinking it was a v3 but I wanted some opinions. I love mine as well big upgrade from the L-Ryder lava tube...don't get me wrong the lava tube is nice for Nova type clearos but it doesn't have the horsepower the Z-max does for duel coil cartos.
