When is someone going to stand up for the children to the death dealing theatrical smoke machine lobby? We have been sending the wrong message, and we need to clarify the perception that it is okay to make fog. If we do nothing, fog machines will continue to pour foggy vapor into the community, and it could make it hard to see at times. What about the kids? Sure there has been extensive research showing that they are safe, but has anyone performed long term studies on the effects of fog machines while juggling apples? Can we be certain that kids juggling apples won't lose sight of an apple for a split second in this fog and then get hit in the eye with an apple? If it saves the sight of just one child, the ban will be worth it!

I think Lex Luthor had it right in the Superman movie.

My apologies if you either live there or have loved ones there but sometimes I think California would be doing the entire country a favor by sliding off the continental shelf into the Pacific.

This is one of those times.

I never vape where smoking is not allowed. I think of it this way if I was able to go without a cigarette while in a store or something then surely I can go without vaping. Its no big deal.

I didn't see where they made the retailors get a tobacco license...now that is stupid!

Yea, I didn't realize this was coming up in a vote. I would have been there had I known. I'm going to join CASAA and try to get there for the next one. Supposedly, they were to vote on this April 9th. Their argument was just silly, I mean really silly and hurts as a vapor and a scientist to not have been there to clean up some of this ridiculousness. One of my friends I just converted saw that article and sent it to me last night.

I don't like smoking anything indoors or in my car anyway, but the part that got me was they are banning all indoor use, so cars and homes are included! Just silly, absolutely silly. The last damn thing I need is people going through my house because a neighbor saw me 'smoking'? Aye Carumba Batman, what's next? I walk out of my shower and the county is gonna have someone check me out because the shampoo I use contains sulfides?

It's almost as if they don't realize that there is no combustion going on... I agree with the possibility of second-hand nicotine (since there is no validated study yet) but banning entirely is straight annoying. I come from a biology/chemistry background use the stuff myself, along with many other MD friends of mine... Vape smuggling time! (I Kid I Kid)
