I put up a PIF offer today.. and there were doubts. Someone didn't want to take it, because they didn't feel they had enough to 'match' my offer...

:(

Seriously folks... I like to do this. I get enjoyment out of giving. But if no one wants to take it, because they are afraid they don't have enough to PIF back.. then I can't participate. That thought makes me very sad.

I left PIF a couple months ago because there were problems with my PIF's. I gave too much. It created problems. But I don't know how to give less... and to be honest.. I don't want to give less.
I don't care if you have a huge stash of mods, I don't care if you only have a few sheets of poly, or if you are an older member, or brand spanking new! That's not what this is about... please.. take my PIF if you want it! Or need it... that's why I do it. To give.

Paying it Forward is about just that.. paying it forward. I give when I can.. I give what I can. It makes me smile, and makes me feel useful. If I can't participate.... then I'll feel really lost. I need yall.

Sincerely,
Leanne ♥

Really near the mexican border.
Continue to participate my friend. People no matter how much you tell them will only feel like they feel when they feel it. We can tell people until they are blue in the face what PIF is all about and until they "get" it, it won't matter what we tell them. There are still "old" Pifers out there that feel like that, you know? It's all about feeling okay about yourself and until one feels that way, that someone will not get the fact that matching PIF's is not necessary. I hope this all makes sense!

Leannebug you are an absolute Sweetheart ! You are all about what makes PIF such a unique group of wonderful people. IF your fantastic PIF isn't taken right away don't look at it as a negative but positive proof of what a wonderful group PIF really is. When the oldies don't immediately take it giving some time for a noobie to have a chance and a noobie doesn't immediately take it becasue they don't have much of anything to give in return there isn't any greater positive proof of the overall fantastic sharing nature of this group as a whole !!! Ok, I admit I'm still a DIY stalker, I've just recently ordered a few supplies to come in so I can start to DIY. It just wouldn't feel right taking a DIY PIF when I have nothing to offer in that thread yet. I promise, when I get a few things I can PIF forward I'll be looking for your PIF's and jump on one immediately !!!!!!

LB, there is nothing wrong with a giver. They are the Angels in this world. I know of two Angels, you and LULU...you give, and give. What's not to love about you two? We love you both on here and it was not the same with you on here but I understand (romance comes first..lol). Never feel bad about yourself. Life is 3/4 full of Takers and 1/4 full of Givers and you can call yourself one of the lucky ones that Give till there is no tomorrow. Reason that the World is what it is is because of all the Takers. My hubby and I volunteer in a Homeless Shelter pretty much all Winter, a couple times a week (washing blankets, serving food) and the Homeless call us Angels...it is sad..but it gives me chance to reflect on how lucky I am...beautiful kids, grandkids, home, etc. Maybe all the Wall Street crooks should do put in time there for their punishment and see what struggles people are having now.

Get well, my friend, and get a Flu shot next year..lol...!!! I forgot to tell you, my son has relapsed and just had treatments at University of Maryland. He couldn't get into the Mayo Clinic. Hopefully, they have eased his pain with the nerve blocks.

PoP:

honey... PLEASE don't be sorry. It wasn't you honey... I had several (various) problems before I left.. some new rules were even 'announced' because of it.. and of course, a lot of people knew exactly who was the reference... So.. this is not a first time thing. I had hoped things would be different maybe.. I don't know.. and I really was at a loss when it happened again.

So don't you DARE feel bad!! K??? It's SO not your fault.

Mickey is right... I need to just accept it, and move on :) and I shall try and do that :)

Babyblue... WELCOME!! This is a great place.. don't let my worries scare you off!!!!

Grandma... you and BLUE... SEE.. now you are two perfect candidates for taking!! Finding lil things to make up a small PIF is fine.. and it's what this place was based on! I remember just PIFing a 5ml bottle of juice and that was a lot to me.

((((Sandy))))) hugs for your son too. Has he tried Lyrica? its a nerve medicine.. normally prescribed for Fibromyalgia.. but it works on the nerve endings. He should ask about it.. get a few samples! (and thank you for the sweet words.. there are many many angels on here.. lots more than we know about even!)
