I dont think this should be necessary, but maybe vendors could offer some sort of incentive, like 10%off, or something like that if you sign the petition...

This should be a sticky across every forum out there. Even a link in the top or EVEN making people sign it before being able to access the forum. Like the 18 and over links on websites.
Bump. It's just a petition, but if 25K signatures are on it, the white house is obligated to respond. I posted this to Facebook, and I urge all of you to do the same for any other social networking sites you might be on:

how do you figure that? We need around 16 000 MORE sigs, which is twice what we have (it needs 25k signatures)... we are a third there... still a ways to go, but we have lots of time to blow the minimum signatures requirement out of the water.
