Heres how to make a custom sig banner

Find and upload your banner to photobucket or whatever host you use. I use photobucket.

Get the direct url from photobucket

Go here

• You will see the following fields:
• Date started(YYYY-MM-DD)
• Analogs smoked per day:
• Analogs cost per pack:
• Currency:
• PV purchase cost:
• Monthly vaping cost:
• Analog mg tar/cig:
• Analog mg CO/cig:
• Background image URL:
• Text x offset(pixels):
• Text y offset(pixels):
• Text color:
• Font size:
• Text Style:

Paste your banner url into the appropriate field

The X and Y fields control where the text shows up on the image. For left side center use 23 in the Y

Fill in the fields you want to show up

Pick a font and size

click submit.

You will see a preview. If you want to change it hit the back button in your browser. Edit and repeat.

Once your happy copy the URL from the browser bar.

Go to http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sour...sg=AFQjCNGtXdOqUipGDRQNLiaqavcCLhNzmA&cad=rja

Use this to shorten the URL. Copy the one it gives you.

Go to your signature and paste the URL in as a image. Hit preview and you should see your new sig

Cool I was thinking about using just the reg BWB banner like Don and a couple others and now am gonna go ahead and slap it on...though I don't quite "qualify" for any of that there fancy dynamic text yet.

so.. when I try to change my profile settings, both the "shortened" URL and the long URL give me an "invalid file" alert when I try to preview it... but it looks like I can insert it as an image here? <shrug>

Mine's not coming out. Though I can see my image, I keep getting the invalid message when I post it to my signature page.

Post it as a image Rar use the

tags around the URL also make sure your shortening the url

No not the specific one this thread is about I want my SIGPIC to be a clickable link to backwoodsbrew.net like Don's. I figure he has it hosted on the site somewhere and uses the URL option for SIGPIC as opposed to uploading local file.

Heres the trick

use the following for your sigpic but take out the spaces. I have to add the spaces for it to show up

[SIGPIC ][/URL ]


To add that go to:
Settings
Edit Signature
Click on the little symbol with a big a and a little a in the right corner of the editor. It will take you to the html window

Heres a sig tip for everyone

If your sig looks blurry or less clear when you add it through ecf.... Its because its downsizing it. If you upload it to photobucket or a similar service and link it , it will be clearer

I will definitely be clearer but not as crisp as linking it and by linking you get away with a tiny bit larger dimensions
