Ok... I've given up sourcing for the 2 items in SG

Scroll to the high-temperature nickel wire look for the 0.003" wan. cost US$34.11 with out shipping. BUT who the hell can finish 4500ft of it????

reccomend getting the round braid 3/8in ones. This is more sensible as they sell it by feet. US$3.71/ft w/o shipping. dismantle by individual braids and should be able to get the thickness we want.


Thinking of order from them. if can get enuff ppl maybe do a wick and nichrome MO.

For me, i rather spend the money to get new atties and cartos. Can understand how you feel tho. I was also crazy about rebuilding atties when i first started out vaping. Like you, I've thought of buying from McMaster-Carr. But i sourced for other more viable alternatives. Heaven Gifts used to sell braided wicks. I ended up with zippo wicks.

If you got a spoilt oven, tear the door apart. The internals got high temp silica ropes also. Nichrome i didn't bother because it is too much hassle, have to solder properly to prevent shorts and to source for the safe flux for joining... etc. Not to mention the length of coil and number of twist to make the perfect resistance. It will involve a lot of work and costs. Better off getting the more expensive rebuildable iAtty.

Got my kanthal from ebay and wick from the wickstore. kanthal seems more tough than nichrome. a bit more indulgence would be silver wires, also available from ebay.

For all the attys I have made and the ones I saw for the Genesis co-op it was 32 gauge, could be wrong but thats what I have seen myself

Attached it to my GGTS and feeling good... Now, only if i had a carto to vape it with!!! lol...

Vapes better with an atty bro gooood stuff... Try a Lr atty with 3.7v, then at 6v..... Even if you accidentally burn the atty, the Ufs can somehow cover it.... Awesome eh?

Got no atty that fits right now. Only got my F1 Cartos and the cleromizer that came with the supertanker. So no choice have to wait for my 510 to land... Damn frustrating... Now only depending on my 580 till arrival... Then need to get the CR123A to make it "on-the-go" friendly!!

New to vaping, i was temporary using 2xcr123 3v batt stacked with a 510 lr 1.5ohm Joye atty and a DCT 1.5ohm atty. Didn't know could burn the atty. But then they worked fine and the vap is super nice an thick and warm, very flavorful too!

Then tried my regular 510t atty on 510 batts, tasted so so bad in comparison....
