Hope this hasn't been covered elsewhere but I can't find it. I have seen this little silicone ring in my 510 cart under the mouth piece. It is nestled inside there and has a hole in the middle. What is its purpose and where/how should it be set? I have noticed mine is sideways sometimes & have been poking it to settle it horizontal to the cart to try & get a good seal but not sure if this is correct.

I think the previous reply was referring to a cartomizer, but the same answer also applies to the 510 cartridges. They are meant to provide a barrier to prevent any juice from getting to your mouth. The difference between the 510 and the cartomizer is that nobody really removes them from the 510 cartridges. Heck, hardly anyone probably even knows they are in there.
