Okay, so I took the time to read the forums before purchasing my first hardware. I chose the Riva, based on what I read here. I bought the starter kit that had two batteries (1100mah), two atomizers, etc. Then I bought another starter kit. Then I bought two more cones. So now I have, essentially 4 identical Rivas.

I'm experimenting with juices, both in nicotine strength and flavor. I now have 30+ juice samples, plenty of cartomizers (in 2, 2.5, and 3ohm versions).

How do I remember which juice is in which identical looking Riva? I like the fact that the Riva is all black and doesn't look all trendy. But how do I tell which one has which juice and which strength?

This is really frustrating, so I turn to the wisdom of the more experienced vapers. What say you?

You could go to your nearest orthodontist and pick up some colored rubber bands for braces, like these. Put them around the battery or carto.

It's imperfect and less colorful than the other selections, but I bought this tackle box and am going to order another soon I think. It's cheap, and then I just put the juice and the filled (or empty) carto next to the corresponding.

It's worked well for me so far, but it depends on how good you will be about putting them back when you finish one. It may not work for you.

Question: Why do you keep the whole Riva+carto together, rather than just unscrewing and putting on another carto?

Have you considered different color cones?

Also - you can buy colored vinyl sticky map dots or colors of vinyl tape, the ortho rubber bands as suggested. If you are using cartos like Boge, different color drip tips as mouthppieces or the colored end-caps from SmokelessImage may work (they are for 808 cartos but they should fit).

Wow, great idea. I will have to try that. Have been trying to refill cartomizers, and always forget which is which. Also, I think my self-mixed juice is being contaminated with the left over taste from the carto's original flavor juice. I am not sure if what I taste is what I just mixed, or has it been modified by leftover original juice. This idea is perfect for my blank cartos that should be delivered today or tomorrow.

Hee hee. I feel like I lead a sheltered life since neither my wife nor I see an orthodontist or use nail polish. Both are good suggestions. Thank you.

I have a large divided box, but it isn't keeping pace. It has 24 slots. I just got in another 30 flavors, in addition to the 20 I already had. I know that I can keep track of the flavors, but the problem is telling the Rivas apart.

I like the rubber band and nail polish ideas.

Ha, me too...I have filled up one and am looking for another for that same reason. Can't stop ordering juices! Anyone have a good online source for those bands? Amazon has some hits. The only flaw I can see with Swedish Fish's idea is that wouldn't you have to own a lot of different colors of nail polish?

I love the colored cap idea...have not seen that...
but what I did at first...when I was trying 155 different flavors a month
was just get a sticky folder tab (white at walmart) write the juice
flavor on it....and wrap around the carto....and that was my system.
Now days....I buy only 3 different flavors....got over the "gotta try that one" juice fit.

The colored caps are cool and another option which I am surprised nobody has thrown up is colored DT's. I immediately place DT's on my Cartos since I now prefer the feel of them versus the metal tube of a carto. I use several of the colored and twisted version from nHaler and it allows me to identify which carto has which flavor.
