Here is a 6/7 wrap of 28 AWG Kanthal (0.321 mm and 0.46 Ohms per inch), reading 1.1 ohm:

I do not think we understand each other. 32 AWG is 0.20mm. I do not think all of your coils are working if
you get 1.1 Ohm with 0.20mm , 4/5 wraps. What device do you use? I have 4 genesis atomizers wrap with
0.20mm 3/4 wraps and they all show 1-6-1.8 Ohm. Line is giving me lowest Ohm 1.5.

That is 0.12mm on the picture? I do not think so. 0.12mm is 36 awg. 30Awg is 0.25mm.
That looks like 0.28mm. If it is 0.28mm than you could get 1.1 Ohm.

yes, as I mentioned above the picture: 28 AWG. I either use that or 30 AWG. The more wraps the better, more surface to vaporize the liquid together with a thick solid wick gives me the best results on all gennies.

concerning 30 AWG:
On my hellfire mini's I have: 50 mm solid wick with 4/5 wrap of 30 AWG, ~1.1 ohm.

That makes sense , so you use 0.25 and 0.28. How do you get flavor from it?
Vapor production is great , but flavor is low , and flavor is what genesis is all about.

Why do you think flavor is low? I have tried the 36, 34 and 32 also. The benefit with 30 and 28 is that you wrap more coils to achieve the ohm rating which is optimal which gives you more coil area, more vaporization of the liquid which leads to more vapor and most important more flavor. I never thought that a 1 ohm coil would be good until I tried it and believed it. It is also very logical as you increase the surface area to vaporize more liquid at the same time. My coils glow all at the same time within 1 second when the wick is dry, so you can imagine when that coil is wet: plumes!!!
BTW: This type of setup is in particular great for mechanical 3.7V devices

I tried it before and my Malibu tasted like pina colada. :) I will give it another go.
I saw people use 1.5mm and 2.0mm air holes on the top cap. Tried that also , it
is like vaping air. No flavor. Maybe i am just used to something that everything else does not
taste like i think it should.
