Master I called Apollo from the phone number on their website and the guy said they will have the MLT in silver in stock in 3 weeks.

I also found this Tox Vision on a preorder at Vaporheads.
Vision TOX Variable Voltage PREORDER

The one from Vaporheads is totally different than the L-rider. I wonder who makes it? It is interesting they will be selling a 18650 and a mini as a kit which is a good ideal.

Actually after looking closer it comes two different battery tubes and one seperate unit with the electronics.

I have held off buying my mini...the LT is much lighter and smaller than I imagined...just about an inch taller than my indulgence 18650. I can not believe the difference. Still in shock at the price. You can get 3 for the price of one provari (although I will concede that there is a craftsmanship difference).

Yes, but the Provari (for me) will perform well on a wider variety of devices: atomizers, cartomizers (in and out of a tank).
So far, my VMod XL has only performed adequately with a HH.357 1.5ohm 510 atomizer. Everything else I put on it doesn't make enough vapor / taste for me.

I have been able to see noticeable differences all the way up to 5v with mine using a 1.5 ohm dual coil carto. I agree that the provari has a broader range of compatibility, but the LT is definately doing what I needed it to...to find out if I really needed VV or not...the short answer - Hell to the Yes!

You're not the first person I've seen say this, so don't take this personally. But what do you think is the source of that? In terms of specs, the LavaTube and the Provari (v1) are pretty much identical. Both are amp limited @ 2.5. They should put out the same voltage and amperage to any load that doesn't draw more than the limit. Obviously, the LT will drop the voltage and the Provari will give you an error code, if that occurs. The only other thing I can think of is that the Provari doesn't put out dc voltage? I haven't seen any sort of hardcore testing of a Provari, although I'm sure someone has done it.

Hi guys just letting you know (Kara Lyle pm me-Thanks!) who is interested the mini Lavtubes in silver, black, red & stainless steel are now in stock at Apollo. I just ordered a mini stainless steel one for $59.95 and comes with a one year warranty.

Apollo VTube

I just ordered one yesterday and that option wasn't available, but now it is. I did put in the comment area that I wanted a silver one if they had it. I hope I can still get the silver.

Mad imo I would go to the live chat on the Apollo site and tell them you want to change it to silver if you want to wait to March 10 when more come in if you want to make sure you get it in silver if they will do it. Have your order number ready (not the customer ID number) because in live chat you need to enter your order number. I had asked them some questions on the battery and charger so I needed my order number to start the live chat.

Looks like they sold out of them since I first put my order in because it now says they will be in March 10 and also now its an extra $5.00 for stainless steel which wasn't the case when i put my order in.
