I started vaping about 10 days ago after buying a knock off brand at the corner store. I knew after a few days I was never going back to analogs and ordered 510 stuff. While waiting for my shipment and my cheap battery to charge, I came up with my first mod and it works with the 510 cartos also. Any comments?

WELL DONE! If it delivers you your nicotine in an effective fashion and doesn't electrecute you too badly in the process, I call it a win.

is it just me or does this not seem like the brightest idea? small unreliable box switch connecting directly to a power outlet!
It's a universal adapter with adjustable DC output. There's no difference in this and using a USB passthrough with a wallwart.
Sometimes simple is good. I have a power supply like that with alligator clips, clip 'em on battery terminals in a box mod and off I go!
The voltage options are 3, 4.5, 6, 7.5, 9 & 12 all DC off course and it is rated at 300mA. My cartos work ok on 4.5 and great on 6, haven't tried anything higher as the cartos I have are 2.5 and don't really need to.
300 mA isn't really much current for vaping; but if it works for you, awesome first mod!
