Been vaping this KR808D-1 for 3 months now. I think I'm ready to make a little upgrade, because these batteries are starting to drive me nuts, I always have 2 batteries charging at all time except when I sleep. When they are full I switch them with the 2 that I was vaping with (I have 4 batteries). The flavor and throat hit is so much better with a fresh charged battery.

Since I've been using these batteries for 3 months now, is it possible they start to not being able to hold a complete charge? And that I drain them faster? Should I buy new fresh new ones?

What about the mega battery? 'Cause I don't understand, on the heaven gifts website, they say a normal battery of 280mha "can support about 220 mouthfuls" and the other one, the mega battery at 380mAh they say they can also support about 220 mouthfuls. Shouldn't the 380mAh last longer like 350-400 mouthfuls?! I'm just asking 'cause I'm curious because I don't want them, they are 117mm, I calculated it and that is way too long (that's what she said!).

What about PCC, is it really good? You charge them by USB from any computer? Does it really help when you're out? How long does it last before you charge it back?

I really really like cartomizers, no trouble with it, I hate dripping/dipping, I hate 510. I just want longer battery life! Also what about camping, what do people do when they go camping? Bring a car adapter and charge them there? Any thread on it?

Thanks all in advance! Take your time to answer, I will make my next order in about 5 days.

They do gradually loose their performance over time. Lithium ion batteries perform best when you constantly top them off, so when you notice the drop off in performance switch them out. It sounds like you're doing that.

I really like the PCC when going out. It has a small usb cable built in to the case (I wish they made it retractable or had a small usb port built in). It will roughly charge (4) 280 mAh batts from zero to charged, although I use it to keep them topped off. It will last a lot longer that way.

You may want to consider a mod or a something like the Cigeasy Elegant (an 'ego like' 808 model). In the above post you said the XL batt was too long so that may not appeal to you, although my Wetbox mod is quite small and runs off a 900 mAh batt.

Hope this helps.

I know you feel the XL batts would be too long, but I REALLY, REALLY like them! 5 hrs instead of 2, so you only need to own 2.
You do hold them differently than a cigarette sized PV, kinda' like holding a candy cane (see my avatar on the left). After awhile I realized that's far easier than clinching the KR808D-1 in my teeth.
They seem to have easier airflow too.
Here's the cheapest I've found them, $30:
KR808D1 Mega Starter Kit - AUTO
Wish I'd have found them that cheap when I bought them!

Another endorsement of the new CigEasy Elegant. In fact, I just wrote a review of it (about which Turbo said nice things:); thanks again Turbo!).

If 70 bucks is a strain on your pocketbook right now, the Kr8 PCC (e.g., $16 + $3 shipping from MyVaporStore) is excellent. To me, the additional 100 mAh is not worth the extra length of the XL battery (and the fact that it doesn't fit into the PCC).

Thanks all for your input. The Elegant looks awesome, I wouldn't mind vaping this at all, unfortunately not only does the price's too high for me (at 50$ I'd definitely consider it) but they do not ship to Canada! Same thing for the wetbox, USA only and altough it do looks practical and very useful I don't think I'm ready for that kind of PV :)

And the Mega battery from myvaporstore doesn't seem Mega to me, they are 84mm and 280mHa, this is exactly what I have, Mega battery listed on heaven gifts are 117m and 380mHa, now THAT is mega.

Still have a few days left before my order but I think I'll get both a PCC and a mega battery, I know a mega doesn't fit in a PCC, I'll just get both to test them and see if I like a mega or a PCC better.

Sorry, Zurd. I didn't notice your Montréal location.

Check out the Canadian suppliers shown in the http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...st-canadian-suppliers-introduce-yourself.html thread in the Canadian Members forum/social group.

As for myvaporstore, I don't know why they use that term "Mega" to describe those batteries (perhaps in comparison to other models that they sell). As you pointed out that is not what Heaven Gifts means by "Mega." [BTW typically, the 380 mAh Kr8 batteries are referred to as "XL." 'Mega battery' most often is used for the longer 280 mAh version of the 510 battery (the regular version of which is 180 mAh).
