This thread is AWESOME:

Here is what I've PERSONALLY learned (tips and tricks, stuff like that). I know some will be repeats, but that should just re-enforce how important they are!

  • Even if you are completely new, SAVE your spent atomizer heads, because someday you WILL want to rebuild them, and if not, you can at least send them to someone who will!
  • When a coil/atomizer head is spent, it is SPENT. Toss it in the spent atomizer container, and use a new one. Don't bother cleaning or rinsing it, they are CHEAP ENOUGH on the EVOD and Pro tank to replace every 2 weeks or so (YMMV, just my personal experience)
  • Create a document for vaping. Include the first day you started vaping, how much you've spent on vaping, which e-liquids you've tried, etc etc. Having a document with all your vape info helps tremendously! It is good to record your progress!
  • You CAN vape on a budget. Ego Twist bats and EVODs/Pro tank are a LIFESEND
  • Personal taste is PERSONAL TASTE. Even if 100 people rant and rave about how great an e-liquid is...YOU MIGHT HATE IT. Take e-liquid reviews with a grain of salt :)
  • Once you find a battery and delivery system you like....stick with em! No need to buy into the hype, and get the new toy every few weeks, unless you are SPECIFICALLY into that. If you are, then by all means!

Here is a bit of info and something I learned while on ECF.

Starting out with disposables can be good as they start up on the path to quitting.

Getting your first starter kit in the vapemail is good.
Using your kit and adding to your vaping devices is good.

Picking up and emergency disposable is good.

Using the disposable to test it and finding out it tastes GAH-GAK-GAK is bad. :(

Planing to get a few other cheap devices for an emergency is smart. :)

I've learned that watching Pbusardo's "epiphany" video can/will cost you Hundreds of dollars!

I've learned that TPA Bavarian Cream is wonderful with anything :toast:

I've learned that, for the most part, you get what you pay for but in some instances, the much less expensive version performs just as well if not better than the original.

LMFAO @ AngelsBreathe... Perhaps they don't, but do you not agree both are great, and lead to wonderful experiences and flavors? :)

I have learned that I have a family that opposes everything I do, that seems to hope vaping will give me cancer just so I can be wrong about it being better than smoking : (
I have learned that I am stronger than that, and won't go back no matter what they say.

Damn, doesn't anyone sleep around here?

I've learned that wallelf needs to come back over to the lurking forum and meet the hostess lol

I'll get there.
And I learned that you can take the filler out of a carto and use it as an atomizer. Who knew? (Haven't tried it yet.)

I tried to rewick with that. While possible, I didn't find it very satisfactory. I switched to boiled, then dried yarn, and love that much better.

When you have 4 dogs you never have enough petting hands.

Try it with 11. At one point, we were at 11 dogs...all in and out of the house. Due to old age, we are now down to 4, which is much more manageable, but I sure miss the ones that are gone.

I've learned that you can never "catch up" on a thread & just have to jump in somewhere & say Howdy all!

Yeppers.

Best advice I can give to ANYONE reading this forum...

When you post a question, don't feel like the first couple responses you get within the first 10 minutes contain accurate information.
Chances are the first answers you get will be from people who may not know what they are talking about.

Also, look at post counts when judging whether or not the information you are getting is reliable.
