Simple & Strange Things I've Learned on ECF

ALWAYS save the last inch of DIY eliquid in your bottle and mix the same recipe ON TOP of that one inch in the same bottle.

Makes a HUGE difference in steep time....it'll change color in a few days, not WEEKS

I do this as well. It was more of "I dont have another empty bottle but I need to get this juice made today" sort of thing. i don't save an inch though, maybe quarter of an inch.

The most important thing I've learned is that everyone is different, and what works for one person many not work at all for another.

And I've also learned that for every vaping issue you may have, there is a solution out there somewhere.
The hardest part is often figuring out exactly what issue it is that you are having.

I want to echo these comments. I honestly can't think of a better example of a common interest being so incredibly subjective. Also don't be discouraged if at first you don't like it, talk about it and ask questions, there is almost definitely a way to get your vaping experience to a point where it is far more enjoyable and economical than smoking.

One more, don't be intimidated by all the information and options and don't be intimidated by the idea of rebuilding your own attys. Rebuilding isn't for everyone but if you are the tinkering type and like the idea of getting a (potentially) superior vape at an overall fraction of the price of replaceable what-nots then take a deep breath and just start reading and asking questions.

A person requests you post a pic of your EPIC vapemail and after you do, that same person requesting a pic pm's an admin and says you're a supplier and tries to get you banned. Isn't jealousy lovely? Nice try but I don't sell.

I could care less what somebody else has. I only care what I have.

Being banned for an hour wasn't either. I spend HOURS a day here helping people DIY and give honest answers to all.

Thankfully my posts were reviewed and it was REVERSED.

I have not had to experience it (thankfully) but i have learned:
Get a disposable or seperate credit card not attached to your bank account for vape orders. I haves seen way to many "I have fradulent charges" posts.

If you have a desire to memorize your credit card number, expiration date and validation code, start vaping!

Always have a back-up device, as well as extra batteries. If you have a problem with your mod all the charged batteries in the world won't give you something to vape. It's hard to diagnose an electrical malfunction while having a nicotine fit.

Actually, I found that quite helpful. What information someone finds useful is as subjective as what eliquids taste good, IMO.

If you are considering moving up to a mod, it's ok to go with something inexpensive for your first one. However, save up your money and make your next one the highest quality one that you can afford rather than stocking up on inexpensive backups and backups for backups.

I speak from experience, with no less than 6 mods collecting dust. Buy the best you can reasonably afford. It will save you a lot of $$$ and a lot of time waiting for vapermail.

Get two batteries right off the bat. don't think you can get by with just one. I've found that batteries don't last as long as their rated and you don't want to get stuck waiting for one to charge!

By my 3rd month I had about 65 808s. What did I know? And they were sooooo cool. Many colors. Etc. God, I'd almost forgotten all that.

So, don't think you need 65 batts right off the bat either.
