I've learned that the carto needs to be an 808 style for this to work. However, I'd love to learn I'm wrong, and a 510 carto can somehow be easily converted to a dripping atomizer also.

I've read remarks about 510 cartos being used for dripping, but not explained. Thinking of how cartos are designed, I don't see how it could be done, let alone easily. Perhaps something else was meant other than the regular single coil carto I'm thinking of.

The old cartridge system, however, can easily be used for dripping; that's how I started. My first kit used a 650mAh battery with an atty screwed onto it, and then a cartridge filled with juice was pushed into the atty. The carts are just plastic tubes with filler material inside (blue aquarium foam works great) that juice was dripped into.

If you don't use the cartridge, you can drip directly onto the atty:

You know, I got some info lurking on this site before I joined, but for the most part........most of my questions I have posted never really got any quality answers. There were a few, but nothing that really showed me what I wanted to learn. Most of what I have learned has been through scoping sites, and through trial and error. I think this site has good intentions, but most people dont answer posts with any real information and if they do answer, the information is so vast and varies from person to person, it becomes hard to know what to do or what advice to actually take.

Ya'll are pulling out all the stops tonight!

Hey, Patrick, your post above relates to my post: don't ask anything too specific because your answers will be all over the place. The forum is huge, membership growing every day, and everyone loves and feels loyal to something different. Not everyone has personal experience to answer every question either.

I've learned to seek out the vendor's sub-forum on ECF and ask specific questions there, as that is where most of the experts are likely to see and respond.

did you post that for me?! :D

I've learned that a baby sloth might be as dangerous to threads as a panda...

ooooommmmmmgggggg! breathe, breathe.....ok that was *definitely* for ME!!!

(and the baby panda(s) too!! :p )

- i've learned that there are a LOT of "experts" yet very few actually ask the OP questions or listen to the answers (happens in all "communities"...hence "get a whatchahizzle..that is why you aren't happy" when it has nothing to do with not having a whatchahizzle)
- i've learned that there are a LOT of amazing ppl devoting their time to others and animals and paying it forward....and just keeping each other company and "being there"
- i've learned that you CAN spend way too much time on ECF and vendor sites.
- i've learned that there may not be any such thing as my vaping "holy grail"....and if there is...no one else can tell me what it is.
