Well, I'm using my Spinner and my iclear 16. My throat has been hurting for a few days and the warmer vape feels better. I'm vaping sweet strawberry from Capella's and it's good, just wish I had something a bit smoother on my throat lol.
What's you pg and nic level? Both can be a bit harsh. I personally don't like a lot of throat hit, but I'm sensitive to vg, so my pg level is high. I find I prefer a cooler vape, plus I'm a big fan of "Koolada."
I'm using a 50/50 18mg it normally doesn't bother me but with my throat all scratchy it's kinda uncomfortable. I don't have any menthol type vapes but that might be better. I was using my protank but that hits harsher to me.
Koolada (aka "Cold Hit," "Cold Shot," etc.) is nifty stuff. It's a derivative of menthol that adds coolness, but no menthol or mint taste. It's called a flavor, I guess because you can vape it by itself, but it's more of an additive. I keep a bottle around to perk up boring flavors. It seems to make it cooler on the throat too.
Back to strange things - this may not work for you, but I've found that Coca Cola (the real thing, not just cola) has a bite to it that often resets my palate and soothes my throat. I have no idea why.
I have some coke here, I might have to try that, my drink of choice is Dr. Pepper but I think an ice cold coke would help to ease my throat.

It's that "bite" Coke has that seems to help - it doesn't seem as sweet as generic cola (which I used to to drink) or Dr. Pepper. I first noticed it when I got real Coke with some fast food. I just now thought that lemon in it might be good; but real Coke with real lemon juice, not lemon flavored cola.
I have lemon too. I may put some lemon in my coke, it does have a bite to it lol

I have learned that meeting a fellow vaper can lead to an hour's conversation over coffee about vaping, especially if she's cute.
