I'm not saying it is a work of art or soldering or craftsmanship like many of you produce. But I think it is pretty sweet from some spare parts, plus an ebay (china mass produced) tobacco pipe body ($6) and a china 510 mouthpiece ($3). Add to that a wine cork, a 510 auto cigalike, and a spare slowtech vivi nova.

Tools required: A drill and a razor knife (for the cork).

Haha, loving it. Vapes great too! If I could find a short enough auto ego battery it would be even better - more mah and I could get rid of some or all of the cork cover - but oh well, kind of given up on that.

I did something similar for my dad using one of his old pipes using a 650 mah manual. The automatic sure would be nice and you are right the sd keychain is awfully expense for a 2 hr battery. Your pipe looks awesome and sure can't beat the price!
I've been watching allvaporandnosmoke YouTube channel gearing up to try a 18350. I'd say with the ingenuity you put into this pipe that you'd have no problem tackling a 18350

Thanks. To me part of what makes this cool and easy is the pipe mouthpiece. I am aware of two cheap decent mouthpieces and I bought a few of each to experiment with:

$2.50 (USD) each with free shipping but I believe the minimum order is $20 and the boat from china is REALLY SLOW.

They have 510 connectors on them which means any tank I use has to take a 510 drip tip. An adapter would make the whole stem part too long so this is a limitation I tried to work with.

A battery in the body like most e-pipes would be cool too but that would involve the dreaded soldering.

Finding a really short auto battery is a real challenge too. Not completely pleased with the old 510 cigalike but it is adequate for this first try.

The pipe body is kind of small and not super attractive but it was nice and cheap again, for this first try.

Don't worry about it, let go of his Fantasia on off and bruš. It out, and shape, pojmi according to how you feel ...
great work I haven't thought of a auto batt. I will probably give it a try
I did a ego sleeve too. It kind of looked weird so I sanded the battery and my evod the used to be blackView attachment 217077

I got a great tip by Tezcatlipoca in the "Pipe Talk ..." thread yesterday on the King e-pipe stems: wrapping a little dental floss under the o-ring raises the o-ring just enough to make a snug fit.

Yes, I saw that too and tried it. And it did not work, even though it was really snug after wrapping. So I tried just putting my finger over the end and drawing on the mouthpiece, and it is obvious that for some reason they have built them so that air is drawn in from outside the 510 drip tip part too (there is a crack there all around it - see arrow in photo). No clue why they would do that! But when I get around to it I'm going to put some hot glue there anyway.

OK, same technology as before: Decent cheap ($10) tobacco pipe body off of ebay, China stem (with hot glue to seal irritating issue mentioned above), old 510 stick batt and slowtech carto tank. Have not decided how to cover the battery part that is showing still, do not like the cork I used above (plus this pipe is skinnier.) Thinking about a trip to the auto parts store to see what diameter black rubber hoses they have.

For me it is a not embarrassing e-pipe for under $20 plus spare parts. Kind of like that!
