Since you vape, would you lounge around with smokers?

As a new vapor, I've found the smell of cigarette smoke on my clothes after a night at a smoking bar to be quite gross. As I am further progressing in not smoking, I am finding that I do not mind the smell as much as when I first started.

As an experienced vapor, would you voluntarily "hang out" in a place where people can freely vape, smoke cigarettes, cigars or pipes? Especially if you happened to be watching your favorite team with other fans while your team was playing?

Since I've been vaping, the smell of cigarette smoke drives me nuts now. Can't stand it.

I don't like a room smoky, but if choosing a bar or club to visit, all else being equal, I think I'd choose one that allowed smoking and vaping over one that allowed neither.

i still hang out at smoking court at work. smell bothers me, but i used to be one of them. i don't want to be those people who used to smoke and take their anger out on current smokers.

I stopped in a local pipe/cigar shop just long enough to pick up a can of swedish snus. I had to wash my coat when I got home, as I could smell it when i got back in my car.
As for your scenario, it would really depend on the ventilation of the facility. Smoke filled bar, probably not.

Even as a smoker, I never liked going to bars that allow smoking. It's just too overwhelming. I've never really been able to stand the smell and it's a million times worse now that I have completely given up smoking. I will hang out with smokers outside, but not in a building where there is no fresh air.

I never really thought about it, but since you brought it up, I have absolutely no idea where I could even go to "hang out" with smokers if I wanted to. But should I find myself around smoking, I don't think I would be offended or have a problem with it. After all, that could still be me.

I don't like the smell of analogs anymore but since my wife still smokes I kind of have to live with it. A lot of my friends smoke specially while drinking so I have to live with that too. I will not alienate my wife or my friends because of smell so yes I hang around with them. Another thing is I am an ex smoker so that means that I was one of them not too long ago. I am still hoping that my wife will see the light and make the switch so I don't have to dry myself with a smelly towel after a bath.

I don't mind going to a restaurant with a pal who smokes, that allows smoking. I know ventilation is good, and we aren't going to be in there too long. Bars that allow smoking, ventilation not so good sometimes. Not really bothered by it until I get home and smell my clothes. It's quite gross. In fact, at the grocery store today I was able to identify a few people who are smokers, just by their smell. A year and a half ago, I was that smelly person !!

Hell yeah that is who I used to be, to shun them would be ridiculous. Plus it would give me a chance to turn them on to vaping.

Of course I would. Now that I know the truth about what the gov., big tobacco, society, etc actually do to a smoker, pretending to want them to quit, but not really. It's a money maker to keep smokers smoking. That makes me mad and upset. Why would I want to hang out with all the non smokers who tormented me being a smoker?

As someone who couldn't stand the smell of a burning cigarette - or cigar - very shortly after I started vaping I sure wouldn't go out of my way for the sake of the experience. (wink, wink) Not hating on smokers, but I don't like smoke and would rather avoid it.

Out of curiousity, when you guys hang with smokers, Do you ever get tempted to take a puff? Sometimes when I am tipsy I want to try but thankfully my friends stop me.

It took me a while, when I was first starting I was around smokers a lot, most smokers are friends with smokers maybe? Lola
After a few weeks of not being around smokers I slowly went back to my old haunts, now..it doesn't bother me. I went back to the old cigar bar after being away for months, say in, had a drink or three, the smoke did not bother me, but it did up my nic. And brought a serious cloud chasing build.

Many friends & family that are smokers .... Love em all to death. But now find it kinda nauseating how they stink of cigs. Worse, I used to smell like that too, never knew.

No not tempted to take a puff. I love the smell and sitting with them
inhaling the second hand smoke is almost like I'm smoking anyway.
