On singles sites or internet dating, do yall check "no" when they ask you if you are a smoker? (that is, if you strictly vape, no analogs).

I would. Of course I would also include I am Mac Daddy Commander of the World on hiatus. Seriously on the non-smoker I would check yes. Technically it is true. Can't smell it on me anymore, I could "hot box" a few hits in the bathroom and be fine.

I've been wondering the same thing although the question is moot at this point since I still have some ciggies along with the vaping.

That's a tough one... some nonsmokers would still consider it unacceptable and some wouldn't, but in hopes of not filtering out those who would be fine with it, I'd put nonsmoker. I would explain it before meeting anybody though.

I have a ironic dichotomy about smokers on singles sites. I want others to put up with it, but if any nonsmoker is okay with dating a smoker I wonder at their sincerity. After all, those truly open to a life partner would probably not sign up for somebody who's surely shortening their life. It's a catch 22 for sure.

Great question!

I am single, I recently filled out a health questionnaire for work, and I DID check 'no' under smoking.

I've gone 10 months without one, and truth be told, I may vape but I STILL sometimes crave a real cigarette.

If I'm going to sit here and crave a cig but not allow myself to go there again--I'm an ex-smoker!

Thats true! I have been smoke free for nearly a week, and I am not going to lie, I want a cigarette and do crave it.
Funny thing is, Friday both of my batteries needed to be charged, and I was a bit pissy. I had been smoke free for 2 full days. My fiance Calin said that it would make a difference if I had one while I waited for them to charge.

I tried it. I took one puff, and put it out. It tasted AWFUL! I simply couldnt believe it!

No more analogs for me ever again.

i was in the exact same sittuation when i first started vapin.. however i finished my analog, and thats was enough for a few more hours.. because the alternative to vaping was unacceptable:mad:

Well, most of the popular dating sites also have a "no answer" option which I myself would most likely check. The fact remains that if I am going out somewhere (with or without a date) I will most likely vape, maybe not a lot but if I don't want to cause a commotion or be bothered with questions about it I'll most likely step out to take care of my business just like a smoker would so I don't want any unpleasant surprises. If we're talking about the doctor's office then of course I would select non-smoker.

I simply cannot do it. I have 2 Pall Mall Full Flavor 100's in my jewelry box. I put them in there April 29th 2009. I am glad to say that they are BOTH still in there. I will not touch them.

If I have a choice of "no comment" I will use that just because I don't really want to mislead anyone. No, I do not smoke but there are a lot of people out there that still might consider it smoking. Most of the time if you don't answer the question someone will ask if you smoke anyway, which is a perfect time to explain the vaping :D
