It all depends on personal preference to be honest. Generally the tighter the airflow compared to the coil or
coils being used make more flavor.
If you have an open airy draw flavor can be muted more than a tighter draw topper. A good example is a kayfun, tight draw and usually very flavorful.
You can bypass the open draw like a mutation by building lower or upping the wattage to make a more vapor.
There are plenty of people that when flavor chasing use a single coil, then use more
coils and open up the airflow for clouds.
I generally use dual coils at .5 ohms on my RDA's as a starting point. I then go up or down in coil resistance depending on flavor and heat.
If you haven't built many coils go for a killer single that works, then try more. A well built and placed coil is going to decide the flavor. So it all depends on skill, the more you have the more you can play around with types and quantities.
