I recently built a parallel 26g coil 5 wraps on the smallest drillbit I have (1/32?), and it heats up crazy fast. The vapor production is great, but the flavor and heat is awful:confused:. Any advice for some 26g builds? Also, my ohm meter always reads "1" no matter what on all my coil builds, or it will just read .53. I am not sure why this is. I am using an Infinite CLT by the way.

5 wraps of 26 ga? That seems REALLY LOW.
I built a dual parallel coil with 28 ga and the thing was HUGE (basically 2 sets of like 10 wraps each for each coil) and it read around .3 ohms. I was using 5/64 drill bit I think... Maybe larger thought that was a few weeks ago do not sure.

32 ga gave me a better build because of the higher resistance wire. Got a quad parallel in at about .7 and the width of the coil was about my standard 9 wrap 32 ga coil width.

So... Do some ohms law, should be about the same as a dual coil for a single parallel coil. I think you guage of wire is too low, but I'm not supper experienced with parallel coils, so someone else feel free to correct me.

Ooh, lawd. That's more like .1 or lower. I like 26ga parallel on a 1\8 six wraps. Dual them up and it becomes a .2 build. Really low obviously. And burns through juice if you don't stuff cotton under it. Not really an all day setup, but nice if you're heading to the vape shop or chilling at home. A single is quite nice though.
