Sinus problems worse since giving up smoking

Update on me, they tried antibiotics 3 times to clear infection, none of it worked, now I am going to have sinus/nose surgery in a few weeks, will take 6 weeks to fully heal afterwards, but hoping it will clear everything up, 3 months of constant headaches, sore throat and congested has got really old. I'm excited to see if it makes my taste and smell better

I started vaping three months after quitting cigarettes, I immediately noticed the swelling in my sinus; it was worse than when I smoked cigarettes. Then I started to develop a sore throat, and then my tonsils started to swell. No amount water helped and I had to take off work because of it. What helped me was Ibuprofen but I'm still having issues.
