What is the PG/VG and nicotine of your juice? And any new flavors?

And have you changed those since before when you had no problems? I know some people kick up the nicotine - the more nicotine the more skin irritation, the more PG, the more the irritation reaches your skin.

But if your tongue and throat are OK and it's just your sinuses - could it be something else like a sinus infection, allergies to something else, etc?

dormouse yeah uped the pg by 20 % in one flavor thought maybee the flavor whould get a lil stronger read that vg mutes flavor a lil bit and was aiming for less throat hit i think i might have got it backwards idk but using lr cartos and read somewhere that flash burning of vg leaves depositesbehind wich results in the throat hit but the in chat someone told my pg is what causes a strong throat hit but i use 50/50 pg/vg on menthol and 30vg 70pg on reg

hoosier nope

thanks mlinky will have to start making sure my humidifier stays full from now on and the more i think about it all those were reasons why i got it in the first place dry & dry heat from the heater but i have been drinking almost a gallon of water a day i go through bout 2 or 3 in the humidifier on a normal day that i'm home all day

I'd be willin to bet freaky that it is this NASTY rollercoaster weather we are having here......Has my head all tied in knots....have you taken anything for it....say like sudafed or my personal favorite...theraflu.....There are some buggies going around here right now......so before you freak out too much, try treating it as a cold or similar little bug.....especially considering your location ;) Hope you feel better...I have 6 new flavs here I REALLY wanna try, but I can't taste a thing right now, so I don't wanna waste em.....

thank you keela was kinda leaning towards not being sick but the more i've read i think a few factors have played into it and i just might be lol ....

1. theirs alot more to regular smokes than nicotine ... obviously .. and in the process of evacuating other toxins many vitamins and minerals are also pulled with them .... read in the exhaustion post here in the newb section i think and possibly else where too

as mentioned b4 already ... dehydrationg from dry heat from my space heater and lack of consistant use of humidier i think is more of the problem than the vaping

and possible alergies masked by smoking i know mine get bad in spring and summer amd it's march wich means not too far away

gonna get some vitamins ... not realy big on cold meds myself call it paranoia but iwas a heavy .... and coke user over 5 years ago and the few times i did try cold meds i was too zingy and didn't likehow i felt reminded me of using ... i know it probably sounds silly to someone who's never had issues like that but i'm me and i have to livewith not anyone else

Good point. I seem to have allergies appear since I've made the switch. Use to be that only welding fumes would make me sneeze, but I sneeze for no apparent reason now. Sometimes have sinus congestion issues after those sneezing fits too.

I understand the meds thing, another you may wanna try is Zicam nasal spray.....that helps too...at least with the nose part, doesn't do much for my pain, but that and the little vicks vapor thing that you just sniff....I don't like the greasy rub....

Mine don't usually flair up till April either, but this has been an odd 2-3 weeks....reminds me of our April weather....oh and look...20 something and snow once again and then 40 tomorrow....my poor head will never be the same after this crazy winter!!!!

You're not alone.
Although I'm new to this forum, I have to say I have been experiencing similar sinus issues as a vapor of almost 2 years.
I have noted that the symptoms are heaviest when I go straight PG, and expect it is likely a matter of PG being a humectant.
A few simple work arounds I have found is to continually hydrate with:
1. Eye Drops,
2. Saline Nasal Spray
3. Drink Water, the purer the better.

When symptoms are really strong I simply use the saline nasal spray. They are extremely cheap and available most anywhere where OTC pharmacies are sold.
My biggest issues are with contact lenses drying out. For me its an early warning sign that I need to hydrate.

All in all though I dont think the alternateive (smoking) is in any way justified if this keeps you off analogs.
