Trust me. batteries will be tiny and the rest of the e-cigarette will be back to its original form.

Battery technology isn't new, and there is always heavy development in that area. It's not done specifically for vaping, but we get the benefits from it. Most of the research is targeted towards cell phones, laptops, ipods, electric cars, and that sort of thing.

Since there is so much research, we can hope that there will be a breakthrough and we will have much smaller batteries with the same power as we are using now, or batteries the size we are using now which hold a lot more power. But that may not happen. Big companies have put a lot of effort into battery research over the past couple of decades. That means that most of the easy to find "improvements" are already done. And without a fairly big breakthrough, you aren't going to see huge improvements.

To answer the question, I'm using Vision Spinners, which are bigger than ego's, but smaller than lava tubes and provari's and such. I like the size factor, so if better batteries were available, I'd probably ant something the same size with more power.

That's great if it works out, but for now, it's pretty much in the "wouldn't it be nice if" stage.

Apparently, our youth are our future. We should keep an eye on an 18 year old girl named Eesha Khare that recently won $50,000 at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix. She will soon be attending Harvard. She won her prize for her super capacitor invention that may soon fit inside a cell phone and charge it in 1/2 a minute. If this is adapted to an e-cig, which would seem pretty doable (and you know someone will try it), vaping will forever change as we know it.

Teen's invention could charge your phone in 20 seconds - NBC News.com

I'd love an eRoll type cigalike, with a PCC for two batts, liquid, and all in a package the size of an iPhone. As long as it lasts me through the day and I get home and charge it (or the car for that matter). I'd still use a full sized mod for serious chain vaping at home, but I'd love something little to carry.

Hey Susaz! I've read of your struggles and I'm wondering how things are going with you these days?

Not giving up... Still smoking but less and less every day. Not without effort, but mind you, these are very stressful times for me nowadays. And of course, I'm still deciding what clearo I'm going to settle with... Choices are narrowing every day!

Thanks so much for remembering!!!

Well I just went out and bought myself a 72nd B-day gift. (devil made me do it)

How about that! Same length as an old eGo bat.

Now my mechanical, Provari, and Reo all use the same battery. So ya, size does matter even with the batteries of today.

If a pv delivered the performance of a fullsized mod but was the size and weight of a cig I would buy one for sure. I think that would also probably be the final nail in the coffin of BT. I know most people's first aversion to vaping is the size and look of eGo's or mods. It definitely was my first turnoff, I got used to it because my performance requirements necessitated the larger utensil but if the technology ever becomes available sign me up! :toast:
