So in reading a lot of new member posts and from my personal experience, size of a device causes big apprehension in new vapers. Yet what I've found is that most devices are a lot smaller in person than they appear on the interwebby, either through purchasing sites or Youtube reviews, etc. I'm sure it's been done before, but could someone with multiple devices do a line up pic for us, with something other than the devices in it for real world comparison? If you have a cigalike, ego, mods, apv that would be awesome! Adult toy sites use a playing card or lipstick. (I would say put a cigarette in there, but who even wants to look at them after kicking them to the curb?;))
I'm gonna be purchasing a Mini Provari in my near future, and after watching the Youtube reviews I was shocked at how small it actually is! It doesn't even fit completely in pbusardo's hand!

And the unrelated question I'm looking for- Does anyone know of any cartomizers that are made in the USA, either 510 or 808 thread? I've found some atty's that are definitely assembled here, and plenty of tanks but they all contain imported cartos. I've asked a few times but wanted to post it again during heavy traffic time.

I've been surprised at how small some of the mods actually are when seen in the wild. I believe someone did a line up by size in the "Show us your setup" thread but I couldn't tell you what page it was on for the life of me.

I was equally nonplussed about the larger vaping gear. I started vaping a cig-a-like and said, "I'll never need more than this." Then I discovered bigger batteries and said, "I'll never need more than this." Then I discovered tanks and I said, "I'll never need more than this." Then I discovered VV and said, "I'll never need more than this." Then I discovered RBAs and...well...I've pretty much given up saying that.

And an unrelated response to your unrelated question...I have searched high and low for an American made cartomizer and I'm convinced they don't exist. I'm not saying they don't exist...just that I haven't been convinced of it.

I know what you mean by "size fear". I thought my 1300mah Spinner was HUGE when I was first considering buying it. Now my friends 650 ego's look tiny and cute to me... to small for my preference.

Here is a picture I just took. From left to right: Vamo V2 in 18650 mode (considered a "light saber huge" device by some people) with a typical 1.6ml CE5 clearo on top, a Vision 1300 Spinner with the same CE5 clearo, an old school 808 "cig-a-like" (think Blu, etc.), and a regular sized Bic lighter for comparison.

Crash Moses-
This is the conclusion I'm quickly reaching. Although I will when I have to, I try to avoid spending money in China for political reasons. Yet in this industry especially and almost any other it is almost impossible to completely avoid. I thought the Bloogs weren't Chinese, but someone on another thread corrected me. Still love their easy draw though.

Thanks Oktyabr, just what I requested!

To your question about E-cigarettes being "Too Large". I have had nothing but good results from any of them. I also Have a Vamo VV and it is a little kin to holding a bike handlebar without the grip (the best description I can think of), and has a good weight and feel. It can also be run in short mode where one section gets removed and runs a half size battery. The Vamo also has setting for Watts and Voltage and also has a ohm meter for running RBA's. Other than that the ego mega v2 1200 is about half the 3/4 the thickness but has none of the same features and does not have a replaceable battery. It is a good running mod though and is my all day vape(the ego).

I like them big! (insert joke here lol) I have a volcano lavatube v2 and love the size. Looked at some other apvs for a backup and frankly I think they are all toooooo small. Even if they fit the 18650 battery, I havent got my hands on anything as big as the lavatube I have. Of course ive only been vaping for about a 2 months.

Thanks DrillX!
Actually, I got over my fear of size with a quick trip to my brick and mortar. I just thought it would be great for new members and vapers to check it out. I think those vids that hold on a close up of the devices, or the pics on shop sites that want to show you all the detail just lead to misconceptions about what you'll actually be holding- I think some people are picturing a Maglight for something like your Vamo, or a long fat Cuban for something as small as the eGos.
