Most ..ok all of them did to me till I placed my first order with one. Of course I sort of feel that every place I have not already shopped is sketchy not just e-cig providers.

^ This.

I am a very careful online shopper. I check out the layout, read reviews, try to get a feel for the sales volume, I look up the sites WhoIs info, and I look them up on the BBB website. If feel anything is off, I am out. I will normally NOT order from an overseas company if I can at all help it. Not because I don't like them or because I am a "buy American or die" kind of guy, but because of things like privacy laws, credit card handling/storage laws, and if something goes horribly bad I like to know I have a shot at legal recourse if needed.

There are registered ECF suppliers - up on the tab at the top of the forum. I tend to stick with those but have bought from some not here that are closer to my region - and have had great results with that.

As for sketchy - the sites that have people agree to monthly repeats of their "trial" order and automatically bill their credit cards. Not only are their products grossly over-priced but they terms and conditions are confusing for people. So - always read before you agree to anything, and avoid "free" trials of ecigs - they aren't free.

I do not think it is fair to make a correlation between a business's website and the quality of their business. Some people are simply not as computer savvy as others. Some may not be willing (or cannot) spend the money to build an incredible website. I would suppose that if anything, I am more leery of someone with the incredible website. Like they are trying to impress me with their presentation instead of their product.

When I first saw Fasttech I thought "no way, Never!" but the lure of paying with paypal was to much to resist. I've placed 3 orders with them now and about to place the 4th.

Very true. My own web site is partly dead right now and I am sure looks very sketchy to strangers. The problem is my business partner was the one who took care of the web site and he died unexpectedly last September. I still do customer service on old orders and so forth. Just no clue in the world what "switch" to pull to fix the site.
