The meaning of freedom to me is very hard to put into words....

Waking up in the morning and knowing I can choose what I wish to do for the day, where I want to go, who I want to see, and knowing that our great armed servicemen/women are fighting for that freedom each and every day is a constant comfort.

Freedom means wearing what I want to wear. If I want to wear my pants below my hips and underwear above, I can. If I choose to go to Walmart in my bunny slippers and pjs, I can. If I decide to wear my wife's Sunday dress, well I won't be married, but I can.

Now that's freedom.

What freedom means to me...

I am able to worship the Pastafarian gods if I choose. I choose not!
Freedom of religion is important. If we are not allowed to worship as we please, without fear of prosecution, then we are lost.

... I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should `make no law respecting establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,' thus building a wall of separation between church and state."
