Only my second post but wondering if anyone else is having trouble getting to sleep after vaping before bed? My wife thinks it's vape related? Of course my go too answer when anything negative said by her is,"I can always go back to two packs of cigarettes again". This gets me a quick face bump....but still wondering if anyone else experiencing this side effect. Maybe I'm just so in love with vaping I can't sleep.

I have had trouble sleeping for as long as I can remember but I have read many people say that it is the nicotine. You could always buy some vg at Walmart and dilute some of the juice down to use at night or buy a night time juice and do an experiment. We both know your wife is right 99.9% of the time. And the other 1% is just an ego booster.

And wife is right 100% of the time...

Good answer!

I have experienced something similar - but I think mine is more that I LOVE VAPING! LOL

I read somewhere here on the forums - people talked about this is something you go through at first, then it calms down. I was waking up at night to vape. I've quit doing that finally. Reducing NIC before bed may help but I never tried that.

A racing pulse and inability to sleep are symptoms of nicotine OD that may be experienced by those who have never before had any symptom of excess nicotine consumption. It is not clear if these symptoms are due to a batch of e-liquid that was considerably stronger than labeled, or an eventual reaction to excess nicotine. The solution might be to reduce the nic strength to a minimum sufficient to produce the required results (removal of cravings, adequate life functionality, stress relief, etc.) and no more.

This is from this thread.......

which is a good read for all medical vaping related problems.

Hello and welcome to a fellow Georgian. I, tend to chain vape when I finally settle in my chair at night. I'd say for about the first 3 months I couldn't fall asleep. I finally went to my Dr. the one that suggested I try vaping. We talked about nic levels. Then, I was back and forth between 24 and 18. He thought if I dropped it by at least half it would solve my problem. He was right, within a few days problem solved. 3 and 6 now is all I have in my arsenal.
Good luck and have fun on your vape journey!!
