well ive had my joye 510 for 2 wks,and it has been quite good so far.i did a filling mod and it was like smoking an analogue huge vapor, but i was gurgling juice quite a bit.well the atty just kinda quit after 1.5 weeks,so ive sent it back instead of cleaning it.i tried my other atty with mod,and it started doing the same thing after 4 days.

i put in a factory cart and its working good.seems a bit plugged up still.i always put a few drips in the cart after about 6 drags,i have been blowing them out drying overnight not all the time,i use dunhill only.im thinking maybe my polyfil is not touching the atty even though i prop it towards the top of the cartridge.2 weeks and it looks like no vaping until supplies come in,lucky i quit smoking for 1 mnth before hand.i probably should try the crest pro cleaning, any ideas?thanks in advance.;)

Hi Beast--

Sounds to me like it is your cartridge mod flooding your atomizers. You would be surprised how little it takes to flood an atomizer. With a 510, drip smoking, anything more then 2 to 3 drops and that atomizer is flooded. There are a few methods for cartridge modifications that have taken off and do a very nice job.

From the advent of the tea bag method by Stubborn Pete on forward, these mods work great when they are perfected by the user. The problems arise when they are not done just right and either cause flooding with the leakage of too much e-liquid to the bridge or the mods do not draw enough e-liquid and cause the mesh to take on a burnt taste.

I would suggest trying a different method for a cartridge or get rid of it all together. I have dripped smoked (using no cartridge for a long long time now) and get a great hit without the hassle of cartidges and no noticable difference in atomizer longevity. As a matter of fact, my atomizer lifespan increased dramatically with dripping.

Again, it is all a matter of preference and you have to find what works best for you.

I hope that helps,

Sun
