After 2 or 3 days of vaping even if my coil was working really well i was curious to open and see how it is inside...

I find this tiny nichrome wire wrapped many times over the cotton.
What surprise me the cotton was pretty white on the sides where wasn't directly in contact with the with the heating wire but in the middle after i removed the wire it was slightly brown color...

What surprised me i never got a dry hit and never feel a burnt taste from this coil so wonder why of this effect?

I also wape at the lowest voltage suggested by the coil producer...

Did you experienced the same experience is this normal?I guess is a really slight burn cotton on the surface cause i can't explane the slightly brown color...

Keep in mind my juice is clear with know flavour just 80% VG 20% Water and nicotine.

Would like to understand if is harmful and i need to change my hardware of is something is really common with cotton wicks nothing to worry about since i don't feel any burn taste or dry hit never since i used this coil?

Do you think silica is a better option over cotton for wick?

Yeah - it's COTTON, getting repeatedly heated - it's just getting a little toasted, but not burnt (or you'd taste it).
Maybe some less WATER in the mix might actually help - water doesn't turn to vapor very well, surprisingly. You could thin with PG if that's not an issue for you...

You had scorched the cotton. Not enough to get a burned taste.

Either you vaped before the cotton was saturated, or you need to back off a little on the power level.

The Cotton in contact with the Coil turning slightly Dark after 2 or 3 days is Perfectly Normal. And doesn't necessarily mean that you are Scorching your Cotton.

Because as your Coil gets "Gunked Up" from continued use, so will the Cotton.

If you run the Cotton Dry, sure, you will Scorch it. But for Normal use where the Cotton is always Saturated, some darkening is just the Cotton getting Dirty.

BTW - If you use Heavily Sweetened or Flavored e-Liquids, the "Gunking" of the Coil and the Cotton can happen Very Fast. Whereas, lightly Sweetened and Flavored e-Liquids Gunk Up the Coil/Cotton slower.

the browning is most likely caused by caramelization of the sweetener in your eliquid and should be normal.

I would only worry if the vape begins to taste funky or if you see burnt wicking material (black charred cotton / wtv material you're using).
The caramelization should be at other parts of the wick too.

I have Juice get dark and it makes the entire wick ugly.

I still say it is scorched.

Just a comment on the amount of water you are using, there are people on the DIY forums who say that water thins VG at four times the rate of PG. They seem to know and understand viscosity better than I, so, I have accepted that number. If an old man's math skills are correct you are vaping liquid with the viscosity equivalent of 20VG and 80PG. For me, that is too thin on my REO and RM2. If you like it, don't change it, this is just my observation.

It is not made by me the liquid but is the base Velvet Cloud of Flavourart i use this cause i'm allergic to propilen glycol...

The stange thing is i never got a dry puff and i'm at the lowest range of suggested power...
3.4 volt...

I would like to understand if this brown color means is better to change hardware cause maybe other hardware doesn't have this problems

Actually water (H2O) vaporizes very well (there is no throat hit or much visible vapor) and given its low boiling point will lower the boiling point (vaporizing) temperature of your juice.

I've used mixes as high as %66 H2O and %33 VG. It can be rather amazing how quickly a mix as described vanishes only a few moments after exhale. The added bonuses are no dry nose/sinuses from vaping and I believe that the H2O helps your body absorb the nicotine at a higher rate than without.

    YMMV.

Here is the situation after 3 days at the suggested lowest wattage with Justfog coils...

The strange is i don't get any burning taste...
