I bought a Kanger Protank Mini and an 650 mah battery passtrought cause the reviews were so positive for this kit i can't go wrong...

Than i bought also the smallest TC box available but i still need to decide wich Atomizer i would put to work well with
Temperature Control...
Can be 22 mm diameter.
Stainless Steel is a mandatory requirement...

What about joyetech Cubis with ss316 coil 1
ohm designed for MTL?

Or you can suggest me better options?

Consider the battery i bought is this one

The set-ups I posted links to, in the very first thread asking for recommendations for a set-up...DID meet the requirements asked for. Again, several of them have been suggested here in this thread by other people, too.

Kanger Evod tanks DO still come in a glass version, not just plastic. They're sold as just the tank as well as in a starter kit that contains 2 whole set-ups (2 tanks, 2 batteries, some coils, charger, etc.). The Kanger Dual Coil coils that fit them come in a whitish colored box of 5. They come in 1.2ohms, 1.5ohms, and 1.8ohms that would work for what you want. Those coils are also inexpensive and easy to find.

The adapter mentioned earlier...would also allow the EVOD glass tank to be used on the battery mentioned that is a favorite one.

There are reasons why the EVOD V1 keeps getting recommended:
    • the fixed 3.7V output 650ma battery can last ~4-6hrs (or more)
    • with the stock 2.4Ohm or 2.2Ohm coils it will sip juice - run out of juice and battery about the same time
    • the draw is fairly to very tight, great for "toodle puffing"
    • the coil design is silly simple and actually works with %100VG
    • the Silica wicked coils lifespan can be measured in WEEKS and not days, Silica does not break down like cotton (technically it is ceramic)
    • the silly simple coil/atomizer design is equally silly easy to rebuild
    • the cost of a "kit" and/or any of the parts are dirt cheap as the industry has moved to high output juice guzzling setups
One of my V1 EVOD's replaced the VMAX+Kayfun V4 I keep in the "throne room". A upgrade from the EVOD is the "EMOW" or Kanger Areotank+EVOD Twist. However much like the EVOD tanks, the EMOW/Areotank's are "eGo" mount and can easily be used on mods with only 510 threads with a inexpensive adapter.

In general if you are looking for +2.0 ohm coil/atomizer offerings you'll need to narrow your search to "eGo" type tanks as the overwhelming majority of the "510" type tanks were/are offered with mostly subohm and sub 2.0 ohm coils/atomizers.

Contrary to popular opinion "juice consumption" has little to do with "power" and "ohms" but rather SURFACE AREA in contact with the wick. The very thin (32-38AWG) wire used on the itty bitty "eGo" atomizers require very little power (very low mass) to heat up and vaporize very little juice simply because of the itty bitty "footprint" or contact area these coils have with the wick. (and the itty bitty wick)

In general, the diameter of the wire controls the resistance per foot. Larger diameter wire has less ohms per foot than smaller diameter wire. (of the same wire type) For the same number of windings and ID diameter the larger diameter wire will have more mass and surface area in contact with the wick requiring more wattage/power to heat up than smaller diameter wire.

To conclude if you want a juice/battery sipping setup you'll need to focus your attention on the 'eGo' type tanks which have itty bitty atomizers with itty bitty wires/coils in them. In general with few exceptions (like the 'cross over' Nautilus type tanks) tanks designed for the '510' connections will almost always use thicker wire and require more power.

(for fun and games (just because I could) I rebuilt a EVOD tank with NiFe70 37AWG and with a eGo/510 adapter ran it on a VTC-Mini in TC mode. Fun stuff)

Thank you for your answer very technical and complete.
I already ordered a Protank 2 mini use the same coil 2.2 ohm of the Evod v1.
Than i bough also a 3.7 volt 650mah ego battery...

I hope the vape style would be the same if not i will try also the evod v1 pyrex version

Very excited cause the reviews of evod coils are excellent.

Thank you again for your support

Good luck with the Pro Tank. That's the first one I got over 2 years ago and I still use them.

I got an upgraded airflow base for mine because I wanted a little more air. For what you want the standard base should be fine. It doesn't let much air through.

I do reckon you should look into rebuilding the coils. It's not that hard and it gives you more control, saves a bunch of money too. You can experiment and build them to whatever resistance works best for you. Try different wicks as well.

Don't know anything about TC so I can't help there.

I hope you'll be happy with what you're getting.

The PT2 Mini is 1 of the tanks I recommended in your very first discussion you started, when looking for a set-up. You checked it out and responded that it was too tall & skinny for your liking. Hopefully when you actually get it in your hands it'll be different.

As you know there are NO other option for our vaping style...
Only could be Emow 16mm but i heard the kanger dual coil are not so good as Evod in all reviews...

yes there are other options... you're just ignoring them.

The guy above described really well about vapor production and wire heating surface size...

Anyway i'm following also your suggestion with a TC mode box just waiting and advice for good stainless steel coil and atomizer...

    Than i will compare...

look it up, you don't really like our suggestions and need to learn your products.

Honestly i bought mini protank 2 based on forum suggestions and many vapers reviews still love today this single bottom coils...

With this kit i'm sure i can't go wrong...

Than i follow also your suggestion about a mode with TC setting ad a very low temperature or low wattage.
I find a really compact box i just need to choose a good atomizer using stainless steel instead of pure nickel coil.
Can you recommend me one please?

Outside of the tube, mech and pen mods I use (which have no TC), everything is in TC mode making use of something rebuildable and everything but SS.
    • much worse than their Kanthal counter parts, Factory TC coils are hit-miss on quality and can be VERY frustrating
    • the sure fire way to ensure quality is to build it yourself (RBA/RTA/RDA/RDTA)
    • SS is the WORSE TC wire to use as it's TCR (other than SS430) is less than 100

no... SS316L is fine in TC, works perfectly in my kanger devices... not going to derail the thread, just stating that, all factory TC I've come across are Ni. there aren't any SS316L factory coils for that tank, if you want SS316L for TC you need to build it.

oh and I held one of these yesterday at a vape show that kanger attended, was the size of the palm of my 5' nothing hand... no I know nothing much about it, there's no real infor out there yet.

keep in mind that if you expect to use SS coils, you're going to have to give up on your 2+ ohm requirement. That high of a resistance in SS would be like a mile-long and obviously wouldn't exist in premade coils.

The resistance you'll be looking for, for a similar amount of wraps is somewhere in the 0.6-0.8ohm range. Also, regular old SS 316 is crap for TC. You want to use 316L or 430 or you're just going to have more complaints.
