Slim's is not too Shady

Ah, so I should nix the extra flavor on Ohm's juice specifically, or is this just your rule of thumb in general? Just trying to get a feel for your taste buds.

I don't care for really Strong juices like NT GDC or CLS but I order All my Ohm's with extra flavor.

It could just be not to my personal liking and that's certainly not their fault. I was really surprised how much they lacked in flavor even with the heavy option applied and almost a month steep. I hate complaining to companies about their product; I usually just let it go and move on to another vendor that may work out better for me. Maybe I aired them too long, but it seemed they needed it to get the plastic smell/taste out.

I first described some of Slim's juices as tasting of plastic or rubber. Later on after some steeping I settled for "waxy" as a term that I find common in almost all of them I've tried. Even Castle Short, which I enjoy very much, has that waxy feel and taste to it. I'm not a juice mixer but it's obviously something in their base ingredients, which I assume are of lower quality. Hence the price. You get what you pay for. I've had fun trying Slim's, as I rarely buy from low cost vendors, and just because of the reasons we are talking about. Still, it has been interesting. All that said, I just received the latest offering from 5P ($27.50 for 30ml) and it has nothing on a couple I've received from Slim's at a fraction of the price. It all comes down to our own individual tastes and no two people experience the same thing from a juice, regardless of who it came from or how much it cost.

I agree misterholidayhouse, I enjoy the more expensive brands but even they can be lacking for me at times. I'm all about trying liquids at a more reasonable price because you never know what you may find that's just as good as the higher $ brands. I'm still new in this so my vape buds still have developing to do and I try to factor that into the equation when sampling liquids others have said were great.

We have to find a balance in my house when it comes to vaping. There is room for a mix of $15ish a 30ml of one's we really like and $6 for flavors that are good but not mind blowing. I also chase after sales as much as possible too.

Just opened my second order. Vaping Blueboro and I'll make it official - I am a fan and will be sticking with Slim's. I don't want to sound like a broken record, so I'll leave it at that.

I had a bit of waxy mouth-feel with the Badger Grease, but it wasn't really unpleasant. Given the name, I kind of thought it was a feature of the blend! But no, I didn't detect the TASTE of any plastic, rubber, or wax in my samples. But as you see, you're not the first person to report such a thing...thanks for checking in!

Nope. I'm pg sensitive, so i order accordingly. Is this the juice you were inferring to, in the other thread? What was the ratio that you ordered? Based on the type of reaction you are having, I doubt it is a pg issue. Or a flavoring issue. Both would cause something a little more serious than a rash/hives on your hands only. Are you absolutely sure it is vaping related?

I'm presently running my remaining Slim's through the ST Nano 0.5ohm @ 25W. Blue Moon is presently at bat, and it's gotten sweeter on the blueberry candy end. Mellow Mania was great in this kit; Apple Dragon Cream still didn't thrill.

@dionysuskiss - A little gunslinging vampire avatar action for Halloween, eh? I never did watch Hellsing. Better to start with the original, or is it fine to head straight into the "Ultimate" OVAs?

You guessed it. A nod to Alucard for Halloween. I like both versions. The original can be cheesy towards the end, but who can blame the animators. The creator of Hellsing was sooo slow at releasing his manga, they had to make their own ending. I would still watch it first. But watch BOTH in Dubbed format. It's one of the few animes that is better in the English version. Crispin Freeman does a heck of a job, as Alucard, in both animes.

I am actually convinced there is something in the Pink Stasrburst that I'm allergic too. My throat gets sore and flemy after trying to vape that one...The others one I don't seem to have an issue....but I also think I am sensitive to pg. -shrug-

I hadn't even looked at Cow's Tail, so thanks for the mention. I'm not acquainted with the namesake candy, but the mix looks like it might be in the same neighborhood as Absolut Crème Brûlée from NT. Probably not a clone, but similar. I may have to add it to my "clone sampler" plans next month....

yeah. i got the sent the standard ratio which is high in PG. i have stopped vapping for a couple days and the rash has gone away (this is the only juice i have)

OK, Slim's fans, I'm on a holiday vape flavor quest, as they will need time to steep and I don't want to have to buy from different vendors. Below is what I've got in my cart, so I thought I'd jump in here and ask if anyone has given any of these a whirl:

• Pumpkin Smash

• Gingerbread
• Candy Cane
• Snake's Blood

I usually shoot for 50/50 blends and use 12mg. I also plan on going with 20% heavy flavor, as it's the same price and I have some 12mg unflavored on hand, if it's a bit too much flavor. BTW, I tank everything and my usual tank of choice is a Nautilus, in case that makes a difference.

I've tried the Snake's Blood with the heavy flavor option and I like it very much. In fact, my only issue with it is that it isn't quite flavorful enough. I like very bold flavored liquids, so I just ordered 10 or so 10 ml. bottles of Slim's liquids with double extra flavor, including the Snake's Blood. I'm hoping these will sufficiently deliver the flavor for me because I really like doing business with this company.

Sorry, if I sounded skeptical. That is just an unusual allergic reaction to PG. Thank goodness it was just a rash on your hands. It could have been much worse.
