Soooo yeah... just started up on my first PV and this is my second time charging my battery and it's slow... really really slow.

Efest 18650 IMR
2250, High Drain
Button Top
Trustfire TR-001

So I throw it on the charger last night at 2:30am with a 3.51v charge. 11:32am I check it (yeah yeah, I worked late, slept late, etc) and it's at 3.86v, red light still on on the charger.

I already have a 2nd battery coming, same exact kind. My charger reads 4.20v...

Not sure what the issue is... ? It also took about 12 hours to get a full charge the first time charging it. Because it took so long is the reason I ordered a 2nd battery so I can just swap them out when one gets low and let the other charge.

Thoughts, advice, etc, appreciated!

Hey Jack,

I have the same Trustfire charger that you have and am having the same long charge time as you. I am thinking about getting the xtar WP 2 ver 2. It has some nice features to include .5A charging or 1A charging and also a USB out to charge something from the unit with your batteries, ie cellphone etc. Here are a couple of review video's for it...

XSTAR WP2 II Newest Model Multi Battery Charger - Vape Safe 2 Cents For Safety Fuse - YouTube
XTAR WPII Battery Charger - YouTube

Hope that helps.
Later,
Rick

Sweet - just got my XTAR in about 5 minutes ago - went to flip the switch from 0 to put the unit out of USB mode and CRACK - the little nub fell off.

I can't even get the selector to move with a pointed punch - won't budge. To top it off the unit has this "burnt" smell to it straight from the box I have never smelled with any electronic device. I'm quite sure this unit has been returned before.

Thanks, AltSmoke!

Looks like I need to RMA this one since, as it stands, its good for nothing but a USB charger
