SLR on RBA (drip type) ???

I read that genesis (or any tank type rba) performs best on SLR (under 1ohm) because the SS mesh absorbs heat generated by the coils so more wattage are needed for best performance.

But how about drip type RBA? especially those using silica, cotton and other "similar" wicks?
How would these perform on under 1ohm resistance?
