Hey reoville!
So I have a small issue user error of course the reo is fantastic but I over squonked something vicous this morning and somehow ended up getting juice in the button and I use 100%vg so its become a sticky gross mess. But I have that sexy brass button cover on there with the offical reo button string and I cannot get that button cover off so I can clean it. Any suggestions? I didnt want to whip the channelocks out and get to pullin and break something.

It will pry off...just go slow with something smooth that will not scratch the corner of the REO. Pry on both sides of the button alternating back and forth in small amounts.

The bath in hot water should be enough to get the VG out.

Ok I just twisted on the cover while it was locked and it loosened enough for me to pull it off got it drying right now

I use a quarter with a towel wrapped over it, pops em right off.

In the future, removing the button and/or button cover isn't necessary to get rid of liquid from the internals. Removing the bottle/tube and Delrin housing inside and giving itall a rinse in warm water will clear out any undesirable gunk.
