See, the thing you are missing is that taste IS so subjective. People are different, and their taste buds taste things differently then you or I. For example, I hate the taste of liver, but I know people who would kill for a "good" piece of liver. I love onions and garlic, but I know people who can not stand them. I have a juice that I think taste great, the person next to me might think it taste like "pine-sol." For example, BWB, I have tired two different flavors, and I thought they were both meah and taste like perfume. Other people rave and rant about how good they are... Anyways, taste (and other senses) are subjective. That is why there is such a wide verity.

Right on. One must vape a tobacco flavor for a while and hope to acquire a taste for it. If one could learn to love blue cheese, one might learn to love pine-sol.

love blue cheese
No. Anyone that says that they love blue cheese is lying, or they're trolling me in real life. Worst cheese ever. Let the cheese wars begin. By the way, most of the "good" tobacco flavors I've had are nothing like tobacco, but instead try to capture the qualities AROUND the tobacco itself, if that makes any sense. Black Perique, for example, is one of my favorites, and it doesn't taste anything like an analog. It's more like a peppery floral taste. That, with the throat hit, is an approximation of what I want out of a cigarette anyway without the burning taste. Likewise, some of the better "Camel"-alikes I've had do the brown sugar/caramel flavor nicely. I think it's all a matter of adding in flavor characteristics in notes instead of blasting forward. If you look at an ingredient list for a cigarette, you might even be able to ascertain what you would need to make a somewhat proper DIY mix of them. One of the more technically impressive tobacco e-liquid recipes I've seen, but never tried, had a list of about 10 different ingredients, and only about 5 drops of it was an actual tobacco flavor. The other flavors involved were stuff like one or two drops of green apple, maybe a strawberry. Probably a baseball hat flavor in there somewhere. I'm not good with chemistry.

Also, I want to say I hate most tobacco flavors so I agree with the original post entirely. I recently purchased a plethora of sample sized bottles, 5ml in 24mg, all from about 5 or 6 different vendors, and only one of them seemed to hit the mark. One of the others (Nightlite Vapor) was plagued by the "red tobacco juice that's too sweet" problem, and the other (Joogler) went waaaaay too heavy on the FlavorArt. I also could taste some of FA's Cuban Supreme flavor in one of them, which to me is one of the worst tobacco flavors ever put into production. It's like eating sugar-coated Monopoly money. I wish I could just find a decent DK-TAB with the right PG/VG ratio that was cheap on the juice and the shipping, but that's why I went into DIY in the first place.

Your taste sound like mine, though I have not tried the BWB as yet.If like in another post you have to keep vaping to acquire a taste,I will just keep trying something else till I find some I really like,Like wine and beer. Some I can drink the rest get tossed, and I will never buy again.I was the same way with pipe tobacco and cigs.

Yes, but it is so much fun to talk about them and get a sense for other things to try. Stress the word try, when some one says they like this or that I know my taste might not match theirs, but I want to try it, to see if I like it. Helps to weed things down a bit:)
