I recently bought a Silver Bullet and I love it, but it's a little big for transport.

I'm in the market for a secondary mod. I want something for my pocket that's small, can take a beating, and vape's with the best of them.

What's the dream setup?

Pictures encouraged if you have something of your own to share.

Thank you so much.

How about the Silver Bullet's baby brother, the BB?

It would fit all of your criteria. Built with the same tank-tough aluminum body that the SB has, yet is extremely lightweight because of its smaller size. Uses a 14500 battery in the 700 mAh plus range. Those batteries are exactly the same size as AA batteries, so it's easy to carry a couple spares in a plastic battery case in your pocket for all day free of worry. (I highly recommend AW batteries, and not the Trustfire/Ultrafire brand that AltSmoke sells) Can use any juice delivery attachment that the Silver Bullet does. American made so can be repaired if need be by Chad at AltSmoke.

I own a black one. My daughter has a pink and purple one. I use cartotanks on mine. She prefers clearotanks such as the Kanger Protank, Kanger Evod (this needs a 510-ego adaptor), or Vision Vivi Nova.

I'm in the market for something similar as well.

My list has been reduced to either the Super T Precise Simplicity mech mod which uses a 14500 battery or an iTaste VV-VW V3. Both are slim and they're perfect for when I'm out and about. iTaste is cheaper but not sure if it'll take a beating though but the Simplicity looks so sleek and it's backed with an awesome warranty... when I get my next paycheck I might just reward myself with both!

rounding third and heading home...
smok tek's varicool custom box mod is the most pocket friendly , unheralded , vaping machine around- truly surprised you don't hear more about it $54.95 and lasts forever on two 14500 batteries. go to smoktek.com and watch the video. shan mods also makes some kicking small form box mods you can customize for under $50. she makes fantastic stuff-shanmods.com

Sweetness. I was considering the BB, but I think I might like something that vapes at a little higher voltage.

Unless you put out the money for a Provari, you likely will not get the same durability with most of the variability voltage mods that can compare to a mechanical mod.

Staying with the pocketability form factor and a solid stainless steel body and the ability to raise your voltage up to 5 volts, consider the Innokin iTaste MVP. A box mod that has a 2600 mAh built-in rechargeable battery. Comes with a charging cord which also allows charging your cell phone with the MVP should you ever need to do that in a pinch. Typical battery time has been 2 - 3 days between charges. No ohm meter, unfortunately. Comes with a beauty ring adaptor to allow use with both eGo and 510 thread delivery devices.

For pocketable I love mt I taste vv/vw with an evod. This time around for me the provari and zmax just aren't traveling as much on a daily basis.

I doubt the I taste will take the beating of some of my other mods, but at $25 I consider it disposable. Might or might not get replaced when it breaks, depends on what does it.

wow that looks badass. any idea when it might be released?

soon :)

I'm having fun with the itaste vv/vw. Similar in size to ego's and twists but with bells and whistles for you to try out.

Another inexpensive one that doesn't get too much attention is the Ovale. The black rubberized coating of this boxy grippery mod is kind of bad ....
