Smallest form factor 5V unit?

To get to 5V you need room for two 3-volt batteries and some sort of resistor or voltage regulator. 2 CR123a's are about 70mm by themseves. My Xhaler is 100mm long with a 20mm diameter, and I can't see how you would make one too much smaller than that except perhaps with a box mod.
The GLV is the smallest and I believe the only 5v device there is(I heard the xhaler doesn't actually reduce the voltage from a few members on here) and can be found at greatlakesvapor.com or something like that. Go on google you'll find it. lol
Actually, the new Prodigy v2 just came out, and the first batch of them are shipping as we speak. It's smaller than the original, and it's 5v.
You could, theoretically, use a 1xAA battery box with a 14500 3.7V + TI Booster to get your 5V. Would make for a tight fit though.
Are there any pictures of the ProdigyV2? I looked on the site but didn't see one.
The Prodigy probably has the same build quality as my PureSomoker pass thru - excellent! Wish they had some stats/dimensions on the new V2. I wonder how it compares in size to the GLV and BB?

I hate FUD. There was some confusion because somebody posted a video of a Xhaler that didn't test it properly.

If you notice at 0:24 it shows a voltage of 5.40 (compare to the "5V" Prodigy V2 which advertises a top voltage under load of 5.7) that jumps up to 6.64 at 0:31 after the resistor cap is loosened.

As far as tube shaped 5v units are concerned, there are two types of batteries used. CR2's and CR123's. The diameter of the CR123's is 2mm bigger so those units tend to be a bit wider. The benefit of using CR123's is that they come in both Protected Li-ion 900mAh or LiFePO4 750mAh, whereas the CR2's are either unprotected or LiFePO4 200mAh. Therefor if you go with the thinner mods you give up a bit of safety or by using the 200mAh batts you are back to changing them every hour.

great Pics Synthesis !!! Highlighter gave me an idea. Just took a pic of the Protege/Prodigy V2/Highlighter ... so people can get a firm grasp on size. The Prodigy V2 is roughly 3/4" longer than the Protege. Will edit and add to this post when done uploading.

Because, according to the diagram below and what I had read - the Xhaler can go anywhere between 3.7 and 7.4 !
3.7 Volt 1 - 3.7V Battery
1 - Blank Spacer Battery
Loose Bottom Cap
5.0 Volt 2 - 3.0V Batteries
Tight Bottom Cap
6.0 Volt 2 - 3.0V Batteries
Loose Bottom Cap
7.4 Volts 2 - 3.7V Batteries
Tight Bottom Cap

It's too bad PureSmoker went to all stainless. I really like the look of the black body on the original much better! (like my PS PT)

So, another question (or two)
Is the Xhaler the only unit that can run multiple voltages? Could the Prodigy or BB run at 3.7 with a huge batt or 5V with 2 3.0's like the Xhaler? I like the idea of being able to switch like that!

The little one on the right is the Protege, the slightly bigger one on the left is the multi voltage V2, the Protege is 3.7v only.
Thanks for the claification Dogsbody! So to run the V2 at 3.7v to get a long run time, what battery would you use?
