Ive been playing around with the GGTS since i got it today. And am trying to figure out what combination will allow the GG to be in its smallest settingm and the medium setting no brass in the center. I have tried, 1850, rcr123a, 18650,14500 and cr123a's. With a 510!
1 x CR2 3.6V for the smallest mode.

Great! i dont have any cr2's yet. Any spacers required for some batteries?
You shouldn't need spacers at all because of the telescopic function but you may want them if you want to change the sleeve configuration.
It's the ultimate user choice device. part of the fun is being able to try out so many configurations to find the ones you like best. :D

I agree, it has consumed most of my day! I have 4 mod P.V's and this is by far my favorite! and probably will be. I need a back up GG now...

A single 3.7v RCR123a will work. Just remove the section that connects to the atomizer and screw the atomizer section into the middle brass section. There will be a gap between the top cap (atomizer connector section) and the bottom aluminum section with this configuration. If you use a 901 and a CR2 battery, you can use the same configuration and that gap will be less or non existent (not sure since I do not have a CR2 batt).

Oh duh...

I guess this is why my wife gets nervous when she leaves me alone with anything mechanical.... or power tools.

No the smallest it will take is one of these little guys. Batteries are labeled with their size in the model number... example is the 16340. It is 16 mm wide X 34mm long and the 0 on the end stands for cylinder shape. The 18650 is 18mm wide X 65mm long and cylinder. A RCR123 is the same size as a 16340. A CR2 is a 15270 or 15mm wide X 27 long... see the difference?
