I am very interested in purchasing one of these GG's when vaporkings gets more in stock.. Could someone please post a picture with one of the 3.7v RCR123's so I can see the size of the GG? I have 6 of the Tenergy 900mah (blue) 3.0v so I'm set on HV but might want to invest in a couple 3.7v batts for cartos and a charger if the size is close to what is being shown in this thread with the CR2's.. Thanks guys, Vapn good to see you again my friend. :) Oh yeah, one more question, just to confirm the adapter when I buy one is good for cartos/901/801/510 all right? I wont have to buy any other adapters? Ready to invest in a more trouble free device... Thanks again. :)

Sorry I can't post a picture, I am still new to this forum thing and have not worked out how to yet. I do have both types of battery and there is about 5mm differance (the 123's are bigger). I am sure one of the senior members will post one for you. I have a GGTS it comes with a re-threader (adapter) for 901's and carts and takes 510's and 801's standard. So you won't need to buy any adapters. Hope this helps Daz.

No the smallest it will take is one of these little guys. Batteries are labeled with their size in the model number... example is the 16340. It is 16 mm wide X 34mm long and the 0 on the end stands for cylinder shape. The 18650 is 18mm wide X 65mm long and cylinder. A RCR123 is the same size as a 16340. A CR2 is a 15270 or 15mm wide X 27 long... see the difference?

Basically the same info that "vapnaway" posted above with a few more numbers (just something I saved):

As for size:
The number tells the size of the battery
The first two dictate the diameter
The second two are the length

16340 = 16mm diameter x 34mm long (CR123A size)
14500 = 14mm diameter x 50mm long
Since CR2s don't seem to use the same system someone measured theirs at: CR2 = 15.2mm diameter x 27.6mm long

*** The 5 digit number is deciphered like : 18650 = 18mm ( diameter ) X 65mm ( length ) where the last ' 0 ' stands for cylindrical cell

In case you ever see the "Pila" brand batteries, that are supposedly very good, but VERY expensive, they use their own codes, here is the conversion:

PILA Brand Size Reference :

18650 = 168A / 600P
17670 = 168S / 600S
18500 = 150A / 300P
17500 = 150S / 300S

CR2 batteries are 27 mm long (they are also known as 15270's) - RCR123A are 3v and are the same size as 16340s - but 16340s are 3.7v.
14500 = AA
16340 = CR123

Okay so there is a 7mm difference between an RCR123 and a CR2 right? Is there any difference in performance other than mah differences in the battery? I've never used a CR2 before because of the supposed dangers of stacking them, but I do stack the RCR123's.. So now when I get a GG, I just need to choose which battery I want for 3.7v vaping at the smallest size.. Can't wait to see the pics :)

Perhaps some others with experience with the CR2's can respond, but I am not sure if a "protected" battery is offered in that size. Obviously, the smaller the battery, the shorter the LIFE is going to be. While I like "small", I'm not interested in "unPROTECTED", so I don't mind the length being a tiny bit smaller. It's a safety tradeoff, that to me is worth it.

Thanks Kenny! I like the look of that!! Imeo and Mac, I have always agreed with you guys on the cr2's.. That is why I never purchased any.. I was considering it because they would not be stacked, but after seeing that picture, I will be perfectly happy with CR123's.. I only have the 3.0v so I will need to purchase some 3.7v ones along with a charger for them.. Thank you so much Kenny for the pictures and Mac and Imeo for the advice on the batteries.. Now just have to wait for Rob to get some in stock :)
