Please don't read too much into this at the moment. I'm only looking for information, NOT trying to slam on SmartFixx.

I recently used SmartFixx carts in two different model ecigs (from two different suppliers). Both ecigs began having "burning smell" problems within 2 carts of use. If you've been using SmartFixx carts please indicate your experience.

Thanks everyone.

I use SmartFixx carts but only with smartfixx mini-ecigs.Occasionally I used to get the burnt smell. Discovered two things that may or may not be related. The only time I get that burnt smell is with the zero nic carts and then only with an almost dead battery. Once I started changing batteries twice a day and cleaning atomizers twice a day, I rarely get that burnt smell anymore. When I do, I figure it's time to change battery and clean atomizer.

I'd be interested to find out what others are experiencing.

Is it the penstyle or the mini cart from Smart fixx?

I'm wondering about the ceramic atomizers. Nothing wrong with them...seems that they're working good...but I notice if I keep puffing it to prime it and it gets really hot, then a burnt plastic type flavor comes from it...but after it cools off for a few seconds and I hit it again (not so many puffs to prime this time), then the burnt flavor isn't there anymore. I also notice that if I dry smoke the ceramic atomizer, that I have to drip more often than I did with non-ceramics. :?

The guy that runs smatfixx is a complete skammer-I have had the misfortune of working with him.
I would not trust him a single inch, he doesn't even smoke.
How can a guy thats sell cheap devices that smell like burned plastic possibly know what he is selling?
Would you buy a car from a person that know nothing about cars or driving.
I have heard several stories about their cheap product and terrible customer service.

This is a serious statement coming from an alleged supplier and competitor. Please understand I must be as concerned about your statement regarding Smart Fixx as I would be if Smart Fixx posted the same comments about Crown 7.

Here are a few phrases copied from your previous board post:

I own Crown7.... I have a very bad feeling about this site.... I also was the person that supplied the start up funding for njoy...we don't sling mud at our competitors....

I can vouch for him being the owner of Crown7. I ordered one of my early e-cigs from him, and we had a long conversation about that post, and other things.
I think I saw you mention that in the old thread of his first message. I hope administrator can also verify proper IP address used in the 2nd post as compared to 1st post. Those comments are harsh from a competitor, especially without solid info, such as a link to court documents or newspaper articles discussing wrong doing, or description of specific problem.

We all want to know if we are being taken for a ride, however also if someone is playing fast and loose with forum accounts, or trying to unfairly impact competition.

If Mr. MacDonald has reason to believe our credit card information could be misused, he needs to be more forthcoming with what he knows.

Crown7 has had 2 posts ... period.

1 defending himself, and another one trash talking a competitor. Luckily, there are some vendors (Meltrex, Janty) that occasionally post useful information and are willing to help...

From the first post, the guy doesn't seem to understand advertising. Njoy, Sedansa, are smart companies for wanting to advertise on an e-cig forum website. Shoot, its like car forums. I have never seen a car forum without forum vendors and sponsors.

everyone on this site seems to point fingers act like one product is better than the other, I want to buy one, but all the reviews I've read seem like such bull, I've even had people contact me privately telling not to waste my money on any of the e-cig devices and stick to ultra lites, ha. Anyway I've only seen two of these products one was this smart fixx mini thing, I thought it looked cool but felt kinda of cheap,it also seemed pretty pricey. The other was a crown7 which seemed to be a bit bigger but tasted better and had several flavors to choose from which i thought was cool. Does anyone thoughts on which product to purchase and some real reasons to, not some bull.

ha ultimate e-smoking, what are you putting into your device that makes it so badass, does everyone on this forum have stock in these companies?

I read your last two post and IMO they were not very nice.
Everyone on this forum tries to help each other out. If you would like info on what we think about different devices that's fine - but based on your post above - it wouldn't matter what was said.

sure it would, if its honest, I'm all for real reviews by real people. I've had some people privately help me allot already with my search, thanks to this site.

Then you have to read the reviews that everyone has posted as being their honest opinion. Some think certain e-cig are wonderful and highly recommend them and then others don't. You have to find an e-cig that you like. Something that fits what you are looking for.
