With the release of the Smileomizer today with the auto DAV, can finally give up some of the tech info I've been sitting on for a bit. As of right now these only come with the auto DAV's, but that doesn't mean it will be the only way to get them later on. First thing you'll notice about these cartos is the drip tip. It's a completely unique design. It's technically two parts, and only compatible with the Smileomizer. The first part is the metal base that screws onto the carto, the second is a high grade silicon cover that goes over it (pics to follow). In the end what you get is a true cigar like experience from the drip tip. You can easily chew on it, yet it is rigid enough so that you can hold it in your mouth without issue. The silicon caps come off because in the future replacement caps will be sold. For aggressive chewers the cap will wear out long before the carto dies.
On to some of the technical aspects of the Smileomizer. Currently they are only available in one size, 3.5ml's. Actual juice amount in the ones I've tested range from 3.4-3.7ml's, so right within range. They are single vertical coil rated for 2.5ohms, with the actual range being 2.4-2.6ohms (in other words very tight quality control). Reason behind the choice of single coil at 2.5ohms were a few. SC cartos do not have the diaper of dual coils to get clogged adding extra life to the carto. 2.5ohms gives you the best balance of flavor and vapor production when it comes to SC, along with allowing use of the full voltage range on the DAV, not to mention use on the passthrough at 5v (as long as you're using a 2 amp power supply). As for the lifespan on these cartos, they have far exceeded that of the tank cartos in my testing. Using wowboy VG, a juice notorious for being hard on cartos, got a one and three fourths bottles of juice through it before vapor production and taste dropped off. Again with the lack of diaper around the coil, have had very good results with cleaning them (though drying is a bit of a hassle).
The last part that needs to be touched up on is airflow. With the mega cartos they were known to have too airy of a draw on anything but the egos they originally shipped with. This is not the case with Smileomizer. Would place it's air restriction as a little tighter than wow, but looser than a cool cart. Very comparable to that of the tanks in all honesty.
This story is complete yet, but have to wait a bit before I can go further into detail on them. Will update this thread when the time comes. As for your pictures-
