Oh, the Black Art of Wicking is dark.... I pretty much felt like I would have to sacrifice at *least* a pig or possibly even Bambi's mom to get it right.... And I guess wicking and building is easier for some fine folks and I'm glad I learned how. I do have a RTA or several that I'm unlikely to wick that I purchased without Knowledge that I'm unlikely to use since it's not even my vaping style. Heh. And yes, it is cheaper..... If you know what you're doing. Unfortunately, that's a rather tall order at times.... And I think there will always be a place in my heart for prefab coils, TBH. The vape is usually fantastic, after you've flooded and leaked out your airholes and earholes a few times, getting it right.
I try to view it as part of the fun, but I do think I might have done better had I approached it more rationally and slowly.... Sadly, that is true in *so many* areas of my life.
The vape is surely great, but I'm kind of in agreement that there's no rush and going slowly and doing your research and all.... If you treat your coils right and don't go nuts with dark juices and flavors, it's usually fairly cost effective. To be fair, I started this process *right* as deeming regs *hadn't* changed, so I was kind of in a "do it now or never" mode.... I don't mind and I'm now all prepared and all, but there will always be a place in my life for Nautlius BVC coils, for sure....
