Oh, the Black Art of Wicking is dark.... I pretty much felt like I would have to sacrifice at *least* a pig or possibly even Bambi's mom to get it right.... And I guess wicking and building is easier for some fine folks and I'm glad I learned how. I do have a RTA or several that I'm unlikely to wick that I purchased without Knowledge that I'm unlikely to use since it's not even my vaping style. Heh. And yes, it is cheaper..... If you know what you're doing. Unfortunately, that's a rather tall order at times.... And I think there will always be a place in my heart for prefab coils, TBH. The vape is usually fantastic, after you've flooded and leaked out your airholes and earholes a few times, getting it right.

I try to view it as part of the fun, but I do think I might have done better had I approached it more rationally and slowly.... Sadly, that is true in *so many* areas of my life. The vape is surely great, but I'm kind of in agreement that there's no rush and going slowly and doing your research and all.... If you treat your coils right and don't go nuts with dark juices and flavors, it's usually fairly cost effective. To be fair, I started this process *right* as deeming regs *hadn't* changed, so I was kind of in a "do it now or never" mode.... I don't mind and I'm now all prepared and all, but there will always be a place in my life for Nautlius BVC coils, for sure....

2 premade coils cotton bacon 11.25

You just need wire cutters scissors and normal tweezers you got that laying around ar home

Wicking isnt hard i suck at building things and some days i struggle to get it right but this one bag of cotton bacon has lasted me for almost 2 months now off a 5.99 purchase

I was going through smok coils every 3 days at 6 dollars a piece

Got my coil master kit for 18.87 and ammit 25 21.50 with free shipping

I spent that same amount in my first month of vaping on smok coils

Its super wasy to build just watch some youtube videos

In the long run it is worth it i don't mean to step on toes or derail the topic

It is all subjective heck cotton bacon bits are almost always the right size

Japanese cotton squares use a ruler and remember the size you have to cut to fit the coil

Better flavor better vape i wick once a week and i dont even need to i had my first wick last 3 weeks

Find a shop that has a tobacco licence they are allowed to build for you and cost 5 bucks they would help you learn too

Thanks for posting all that, fifamymaingame! I learned a lot actually about wicking just then, as far as replicating my results.... Using a ruler would never have occurred to me, LOL. Agreed, if you do your research and get good at it, it may well be more cost effective AND for the price of a wick (cents) you can vape whatever flavors you want, which is a bonus.... I have a storebought coco that I used in my Hussar and it tastes fantastic and it's nice to know that for the cost of sacrificing another pig (I kid, LOL), I mean 1c worth of cotton, I can replace it and just keep on vaping.... That IS one huge advantage of RBA or RTA coils, for sure.

There will still be a place in my heart for Nautlius BVC coils, I'm a little antsy yet about taking any RTAs out of the house. Sometimes everything's fine, sometimes I have a catastrophic leak. But, I'm sure that will improve.... :)
